Nothing says skiing like cuddling

  • Nothing says skiing like cuddling

Cocaine isn’t the ideal drug for cuddling.

  • Hey! Lots of good here! Im in Denver! I ski! I cuddle. Let’s!!!

  • I was actually just thinking about spending a weekend or maybe a week in Denver.

  • Heck yeah!! Denver's just down the road from me and I missed the last Colorado cuddle meet-up 😜

  • All of us in the Denver area would love to meet up again! We had so much fun laughing and playing games at the Denver meet and greet! Let's plan another one. The ski lodges are perfect for cozy cuddling up next people in front of the fireplaces with some yummy hot cocoa!

  • Here for it, baby!! I live in Wyoming but visit Colorado frequently. I'm currently visiting, as I type! 🌲

  • @huggingcomes1st how much fun is that?

And so many fabulous skier/cuddler/connecting type people here in CO.

(Since you are coming from Atlanta, I have to say I’m a bit jealous that you have @Hollydollhugs planning meetups out there and then you will get to have something lovely here as well!!)

Maybe it would be a good place to start if we knew when you were coming in and where you are hopeful to ski?

And WELCOME TO THE COMMUNITY!! 😊😊😊

We just got dumped on yesterday. Sunshine and snowflakes… that’s our motto.

    Go!!!!

Skiing this storm was pretty nice!!

  • I've never been to a ski lodge before and I've been in CO almost 10 years now! I'm in!

  • What ski lodges are good in CO? I've never skied before but would like to maybe do a weekend getaway. It would also be nice to meet some forum members as well.

I know a great cuddler in CO

Removed link to paid event. Those interested can message you to ask for the info, but you cannot advertise for it [netrunner]

  • Beginning of march!!!

  • Oh my goodness!! More Colorado snow this weekend.

    @sr182 😂😂😂

    activate planning mode! Go!!!!

@huggingcomes1st I hope you have so much fun while you are here. If you decide on a specific location maybe we can recommend a place to connect for coffee or something.

It would be challenging to get any kind of big Meet & Greet put together on that short of notice…. But there are a lot of cuddle parties in Boulder and West areas like Arvada and Lakewood. One of them on March 3!!

Meetup is the best place to look. I know that there are some beautiful humans out there connecting people in a real way.

Check out Community Cuddles Meetup on Meetup https://meetu.ps/c/2Xqxp/xR34P/a

@lesmis33 if you decide to put Colorado skiing as a destination bucket list let us know as well!!!

Happy Saturday to all y’all. 😊🩵❄️

  • Was thinking not too long ago of doing a ski trip in CO just once. Also would love to check out that farm/restaurant @sillysassy posted in my indoor garden post a couple weeks back. Maybe steal some ideas, see if it would work on my side of the country. 😅

Probably going to be able to take my kids on a weeks vacay for spring break though and got short notice. What do people even do for vacation in April?

  • @NickWk Here in Colorado, in April...Still ski 😎😏 ⛷️
But down from the mountains, the weather in April can be the BEST spring weather! 🌷🪷 It's also a heavy snow month for us, so check the weather ahead of time just in case... LOL

@RedFox16 whats the saying around these parts?

“If you don’t like the weather just wait a few hours”

    Or drive 50 miles!

There’s definitely still snow in the high country and lots of fun adventures cabin adventures if that’s your thing

    OR

There is a very spring like feeling and it’s one of the best times to visit Colorado because it is extremely moderate. Warmer days with nights that are cool make for a great spring break (unless your kids are looking for the ocean! 😂)

    @NickWk
RiNo or River North is where you’ll find that cool greenhouse and there are tons of things to do in and around Denver.

Omgosh it looks like a gorgeous forecast this year!!

Maybe @justjennn will plan a Meet & Greet/Outdoor Cuddle party???

  • I don’t know why I said April. I was thinking I’m already in March. I have like 3 weeks to plan something with my kids, in March. 🤦🏻‍♂️ I’ve only had 2 days off this year and I can’t even sleep 3 hours in a row anymore. hopefully whatever I find has a nice secluded padded room for my youngest. If I ever want to do a ski trip it will have to be a me trip.

  • @NickWk squeak I'm gonna be in Colorado again in March! Ain't doin' nuttin' but sayin'. 😋

I would suggest Casa Bonita in Denver, but it looks to still be invite-only, after their soft re-opening...

I grew up in Colorado Springs, sooo...

My parents took me on this to the top of Pike's Peak, when I was a kid. It's recently been revamped...

A mighty hike up a heckuva lotta stairs, but so fantastically worth it...
    https://www.sevenfalls.com/

Awesome caves, light shows, and Lord knows what else they've added since I was young (zip lines and human catapults, oh my!)...
    https://caveofthewinds.com/

To calm things down, you could have tea at a beautiful castle...
    https://gleneyrie.org/

You can have a real cowboy experience...and they sing...phenomenally!
    https://www.flyingw.com/

The always-glorious red rock extravaganza that is Garden of the Gods...
    https://gardenofgods.com/

Our zoo built into the side of a mountain...
    https://www.cmzoo.org/

I'm personally recommending all of the above, but there are also tons of things in the area that I haven't done, like Jeep tours, a wolf refuge, cliff dwellings, and so much more. Definitely no shortage of things to do in the Colorado Springs area. 😊

  • How about apres ski cuddle? Could I consider a little cuddle time at my summit county location, with a cozy fire too!?! Hmm, any better date than beginning of march?

I will certainly ski with about anyone. Epic resort for me. (Though I don’t resort ski much)

    Some snow pics for attention!

  • OH MY GOSH!!!! @sr182 you asked for a ski buddy…

@coregulate shared this in the Valentine thread…

If I send someone your way, I promise it won’t give off such SCARY VIBES!! 😂🩵❄️

  • @sillysassy hmm, yes, ski into my heart. Not the creepy SCARY VIBES way. Apres ski cuddle preferred.

  • I'm going on a ski trip probably to smugglers notch in March. Anyone want to join me?

  • @sr182 Looove all those snowy shots! We got six inches here in Wyoming the past few days and it's been gorgeous.

@Atuday Hope you have a great time! I haven't been skiing since I was a teenager, but it is a beautiful feeling.
