I'm sorry if this has been discussed before. I have always been the most affectionate member of my family. I loved cuddling with my mom, and my sister, but they would tolerate it for a while before playfully telling me to 'get a boyfriend.' In high school i cuddled with my friends, spooned, and took naps together. I really, really miss it. I know in some cultures women touch each other a lot more, arrange each others hair, but my family values personal space.
I'm actually much shyer around women than men, because I've practiced talking to men a lot more. I feel that with men, there would be sexual tension and dissatisfaction on one side, but with straight women it would feel more sisterly and friendly.
I'm sorry not to include bisexual and lesbian women, but many that I have met have felt distrust toward straight women, because they have experienced being used by them for attention, and I would never want to lead someone on or hurt their feelings. That said, this site is meant to be platonic though it often blurs the lines, and I would love to cuddle with a bi or lesbian woman if they were ok with it.
