Professionals showing for appointments

It is so discouraging to have a confirmed appointment and the cuddler is a no show. If I as the one hiring a professional cancels within a day of the appointment it is strongly advised that I pay the cuddler a portion of her fee. Unfortunately there is no recourse for us guys other than leaving a poor kharma review ( to which I have discovered that the professional can can poor kharma deleted)…

  • Sorry to hear you had this experience. Every professional will be a different experience, try not to think too much into it and just book a different professional down the road.

    Happy Cuddling! 🧡

  • Sorry to hear about that experience.

I, too, have experienced Pros cancel at the last minute and then immediately block me.

Although it may be tough to not take it personally, just know that it's the Pantheon of Cuddle Gods intervening on your behalf to save you from a lot of trouble down the road.

I agree with @MissAdventurous--just move on and don't book with that person again if they ghost you or cancel in a way that you find unacceptable. Also agree with @TxTom--sometimes when things don't work out with someone, the gods are intervening to save you some trouble or problems. :)

I fully understand with all of the client cancellations why some pros would want a deposit. I get it. But I would never pay one myself because there doesn't seem to be any recourse where I get my money back if the woman I booked with decides to no show. On the other hand, if I were to cancel same day on someone, I would definitely book with them again and also give them maybe $100 extra as a "inconvenience fee" for the cancellation, or if they didn't want to take the booking, I would offer to send them the $100 anyway with my apologies. But all of that said, I support the right for clients and pros to both do what works for them.

  • It’s not the end of the world but does suck. I’d recommend never booking a hotel/place on the first time you’re meeting someone also if possible. Flaking is much more likely to happen the first time

@cdleman it is not the case that professionals can have poor Karma deleted.

False or misleading Karma is routinely deleted by the mods. Unfortunately it is not always easy for them to discern the truth. Sadly both professionals and clients have been known to lie.

This is why it is essential to keep all correspondance on the site, with the possible exception of Whatsapp or similar on the day if things are going well. Once a case has been brought to their attention, the mods can read the messages.

It is also not the case that there is no recourse for clients. It's laid out in the Client Service Agreement paragraph 14:

    1. In the case of a Cuddler cancelling within 12 hours, they are expected to offer you compensation in the form of a discount for your next session with them.

I do not wish to be unsympathetic to your situation, and indeed it is often difficult in practice to get compensation from the professional, but posting untrue statements in the forum - no matter how angry or frustrated you are - doesn't help.

Edit: thinking back, I've had discounts or extended time due to last minute problems on their side from at least two different professionals.
