What’s your go-to karaoke song?

Karaoke I feel is the best form of quality time with friends, family or even with a group of people you’re first just getting to know. My go-to would be “If I ain’t got you By Alicia Keys”. What’s your go-to?

  • I don't do karaoke, and the world is a better place because of it.

    You're welcome.

  • I don’t do Karaoke; but if I did it would be Living on a Prayer by Bon Jovi.

  • Depending on the place I sing at and what crowd is there:

Country bar: my go to is Broken Wing from Martina McBride

Rock n roll: I’ll either do separate ways from journey or More than a feeling from Boston

Younger crowd: love on the Brain: Rihanna

Older crowd: I will always love you: Whitney Houston or rolling in the deep from Adele.

But one song I’m madly obsessed with singing that no one knows (I’ve been singing this song for about 3 years now in front of a lot of people all the time and only a small handful of people actually know this song), is Beautiful Goodbye from Amanda Marshall. But it’s hard singing a song no one knows cuz at times, they don’t clap at the end and it makes me sad 😅

  • For me karaoke is a spectator sport. However my cousin signed me up on my last cruise for a song she knew I couldn’t resist..

  • @biggirlcuddler ooo don’t leave us hanging! Which song??

  • My warm up song is "How Deep is Your Love" by the Bee Gees.

If it's someone's birthday or an event with a celebrant, then I'll do "My Way" by Frank Sinatra, but I'll replace "My" with the person's name. I did it _____'s way.

To get old people dancing, I do "Living La Vida Loca" by Ricky Martin.

My favorite duet with another guy is "To All the Girls I've Loved Before" by Julio Iglesias and Willie Nelson. I always call dibs on Julio's part.

My favorite duet with a female is "Summer Nights" by John Travolta and Olivia Newton John.

If I get drunk enough, I'll do "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" by the Tokens. At a certain point, the alcohol will either loosen me up for the falsetto, or I'll be too drunk to care if I hit those high notes correctly.

My closer is "We Didn't Start the Fire" by Billy Joel.
