But I do have a story about my last cuddle session last week in Philadelphia. So this was a repeat with a favored cuddler and it’s a nice hotel except I think management is slipping. So my cuddle partner was bringing whiskey to the show and requested ice. I went in search of an ice machine and found it on two of the floors but they were out of service. I tried to call down to the desk but both phones in the suite had a light but no dial tone. I went down to the desk and it was in the snack shop in the frozen section—a 5 lb bag of ice. I offered payment but they said the ice was free. But it delayed the start of the session by ten minutes and I had to also explain to her that I did not cut the phone lines—they just didn’t have landline service anymore—you scan a QR code, but there are no signs for that.
That was laziness on the hotel’s part. Why not remove the phones, the ice machines and the signs for the ice machines? On top of that I asked if they had a guest laundry. They did and it is $3 per wash and $3 per dry and it only takes quarters, but they didn’t have quarters—because the hotel went cashless but kept a washer and dryer that is cash only. 🤪🤪🤪

@LadyVel No they did not. They had signs for retired ice machines but no signs for the QR code in the room. The devil definitely ate the details on the changes.

I think a lot of companies make changes without putting proper thought into them.
@Ihavenoidea2 True but I have seen several major upgrades at hotels over the years with an eye to the details. It didn’t happen in this situation. I work with architects and designers and the details that are involved is mind blowing. From the financing to the number of subcontractors involved it is surprising anything gets built.
@BoomerSpooner How about the hotels that advertise their swimming pool on their website knowing it is closed "for maintenance" or permanently.

I don’t like giving out my address unless your close friends or family. I’ve had too many negative experiences when doing this dating. Right now it would take me years to build up trust to host at my home or go to the other cuddles. I just don’t have that instant trust. I suppose I could run background checks on everyone, but then I might as well become pro to cover the time and expense of doing that. I still feel uncomfortable with random strangers knowing where I live.
I prefer hotels 100% for all the reasons you guys said. They book it. Now, my very first cuddle was at a hotel and IT DID take some getting used to! After that, I was OK and realized I prefer it. You have to be comfortable. Also want to say if a new person is reading this, the #1 key to being comfortable is to screen people beforehand on the phone or videochat. SAY NO if your gut tells you there's something off. Even if you have to cancel, be courteous and do it before the day of. I've had to block plenty of people on the site and on my phone in the last few years. Screen a new person by going to their profile and reading their karma. brand new people? I usually say no to first timers. ANyhoo, that's my 2 cents - hotels -- GOOD. Recommended.
