Cozy Cuddle Spaces

I’d like to know what your cuddle space is like. This is a topic that has been posted before, but I’d rather not necro some old thread when we have so many new people posting to the forums.

For me (since I usually host), I am trying to make my cuddle space as cozy as possible. I have a super comfy bed with clean sheets and a soft comforter. I keep it colder with lots of blankets to choose from. My lights dim and can change color, and I have a galaxy projector which I can also change color and has stars that rotate on the ceiling. I have multiple speakers to play music or just play rain/thunderstorm/beach sounds. I also have a ton of video games from every console generation (all hooked up and ready to go) in case we want to get some games in before, and a tv I can reposition to watch shows/movies. I usually cuddle with fellow nerds so it has been amazing.

This wasn’t done just for cuddling, but I just want to have a super relaxing place to retreat to (in this case my bedroom) and it just so happens to be where I enjoy my cuddles as well.

How about you? What makes your cuddle space so special? I will be taking notes to improve mine as I read through the comments ☺️

My basement cuddle area is usually cooler than the rest of the house. Very nice when it is hot out, but still pleasant to cuddle in winter, especially when there is a crackling fire in the fireplace. There are dimable lights above, with a couch that can open out into a Full sized mattress. I have two sets of comforters covering the couch along with several pillows to accomodate whatever head position might be needed. Some bluetooth speakers are placed on the mantle of the fireplace which can be controlled from my phone for easy access. I have a cuddle playlist with several hours worth of music to listen to.

I wish I had a cuddle space at my house but I don't host and am currently in the process of reorganizing and getting rid of a lot of stuff. Maybe someday!
I do hope to incorporate games, movies, and a cozy spot all in one!

Lots of beautiful art, dark, but with sunlight streaming in. Very soft cuddly blankets. Extra pillows. A mini fridge with bottled water. I do have music and TV, but rarely use it. And me, who is very snuggly. 💜

Love it @Mela_B. But it also looks like one of the rooms at an old country inn that is on a “Haunted Places” or ghost show during October. But easily the coolest cuddle room I have seen on the site.

Looking closer I see a ghost in the lighting.

@JoyfulHeart I bet, but I am just judging the room. I like how it looks lived in but not cluttered. Cluttered rooms do not relax me, but this one, in the words of Red Riding Hood, is just right.

Loving this thread!! I often host from hotels but love to bring my favorite blankets, and candles. I sometimes play rain sounds or relaxing music and love to have beautiful plants or flowers within my cuddle spaces when possible. When cuddling in nature or public such as a picnic or hike a great throw blanket and pillows can go a long way!

Galaxy projector, chill music (SiriusXM Chill or Chill Instrumental on the app), lots of pillows, maybe a cat or two. A fan so the space doesn't get stuffy. Cold bottles of water. I will sometimes substitute adult swim cartoons or big bang theory for the music.

Haha my space is def overflowing with nerdy collectibles, but I do keep it tidy. With the lights dim or off and the Galaxy projector on, it’s not as cluttered looking. Much more gamer zen than nature zen.

I offer water (that’s all I usually have) but I get in my head too much thinking if someone is new to my place they are probably not going to want a beverage from a stranger, so I don’t push it 😅

Now that is a space I’d love to cuddle in. Seems so cozy and I love how dark it is. It seems so cool to cuddle in an old home like that and to have a dedicated room for cuddling is ideal!

Well now I have to go and find a galaxy projector because that sounds too amazing to live without

Ohh that looks really comfy! That is how I used to have my bedroom before my brother moved in to that room (causing me to combine my gamer cave and bedroom). I had no electronics in there and it was so peaceful.

Well, since I just got into cuddling there isn't any designated spaces for it here in my home. 🏠
Just my living room 🛋 and my bedroom 🛏 are my cuddle spaces🫂, and I do put in effort to keep them both clean, decluttered and extra tidy whenever cuddle partners are coming over to cuddle. 🫂😊
I usually have food, snacks and beverages on my kitchen table to offer. I'll have movies on the ready to watch if watching movies 📺 is the way to go with said cuddler.😁
And yes, I'll likely have a scented candle or two burning as well.🕯😊

As far as cuddling music goes, I can say that I don't really have any...🤔
I think the only kind of slow groovy music that I have (that can be used for cuddle time)...Umm, I have some Motown, Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty and Shirley Bassey cds?🤷‍♀️😊

That's all the music that I have off the top of my head to "cuddle too". 😉
Everything else (that I have music wise) is either rap or rock/metal music! Lol😆

Of course if I ever come across a cuddler who wants to cuddle while listening to Korn, Tupac, Marilyn Manson, Papa Roach, TI, Metallica or Eminem...Lol! Sure, let's do this!😄👍

Mainly because of Holly Holy (I was watching a movie called, Here Comes The Boom and I overheard in that. And I liked it enough to purchase SECOND HAND at a pawnshop Barry Manilow compilation cd. Lol 😂) and Copa Cabana is a very catchy song to me as well!😄

I have Kenny Roger's too, he had me hooked with The Gambler🎲♠️♥️♦️♣️🎲 and his duet with Dolly Parton's Flowers In The Stream. 💐🌊

Can you believe that I've never seen any Nightmare on Elm Street movies, yet? 🫣🫨 My parents didn't let us watch horror movies growing up, so the past several years since I've been with my boyfriend, he's been introducing me to the classics. Thus far, I'm really digging the zombie movies the most. 💚

My Cuddle space looks like a zen garden. fresh white crisp linens, a Japanese cherry blossom trees, soft pillows of various styles and textures. I try to make it feel as close to the inside of what I think a cloud would feel like. There is a dimmer switch that allows me to dim the lights to a soft ambient vibe that is based upon what my client needs, Cuddles are the equivalent to a good massage. So, I try to offer that Spa, Tranquil environment. similar to this with these nifty pendant lights you can get from Amazon. That said I don't host as much as I travel out.
