Just curious
As long as it’s not a sketchy motel that takes cash, it’s fine. I believe 3 stars are more safe for pros as well as enthusiasts, just with the security and cameras everywhere. And you have to provide an ID and card. So yeah, those are fine.
Hotels/motels depend on the style and area. I won't stay at any motel with exterior only doors, there's going to be interior doors to the rooms, a lobby and 24-hour front desk staff.
@starrynitecuds I'd say that generally those are all features of a 3 star hotel. When travelling alone, I tend to stay almost exclusively in 3 star hotels (usually Holiday Inn Express), and find that 3 star hotels usually have everything I need without extras that I don't care about like a concierge.
3 Starts Hotels are my favorite. Don't realy need anything that 4 and 5 star hotels offer.
Thank you for the inputs. On two occasions when I’ve asked this specific question, they vanished. As if the question itself was an impasse. I followed up the next day suggesting they could pick the location if it suited them. No response.
“A simple no would suffice. I’m open to exploring other options. Hotels have a stigma. I’m not insinuating anything by asking” is probably how I should preface the question moving forward.
@deathwish Why would you even ask that? What purpose does it serve? I You tell them the area you will be hosting in. Then once booking is confirmed you give them the hotel details
@deathwish it’s just as likely that they get a lot of messages therefore don’t have time for a polite ‘no thank you’ and/or their schedule for the next few weeks are packed.
Don’t over think it. And good luck!

Do you mean that this is how you’re thinking you should say it to women? I wouldn’t like this being said to me.
When we get to the discussion of which hotel, I just send them the one I’m hosting at or I ask them to send me the address of the one they are thinking of. I check out the reviews and check out the area and simply answer back to confirm our cuddle. Easy peasy. If the woman you’re talking to already has an idea of the hotel she’s comfortable in, I’m sure she will say something.
I do know there are some pros who refuse to go to any hotel that’s less than 5 star, but I also know plenty of pros (myself included) that are perfectly fine with 3 star hotels. I wouldn’t bring up that’s it’s a 3 star. I would just send the address to the hotel when it comes time to talk about location.
Wait 3 star vs 1 star or 3 star vs 5 star.
1 star hotel is the backseat of a '97 GEO Metro.
@Sooson 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I have to wonder if that is a 1 star hotel if there are any left?
2 things to avoid:
1) Motels with police tape. 2) Being the cause of it.
I had a no-hotel policy for about a year when I joined, because of the stigma you mentioned. I am the one with the stigma. I am actually in the minority, on this site; it is extremely common for cuddles to take place in hotels, most especially with Pro's. I am not a Pro, but even if I were, that would have remained my policy.
I still harbor an internal moral stigma against meeting people in hotels, and I am also extremely careful about who I place myself in enclosed spaces alone with. But I do hotel cuddles on extremely rare occasions now, with cuddle friends I have known for a long time, or trust deeply. Thus far, that's only been three people.
To answer your actual question, the star-rating of the hotel is of no consequence to me. I am not prissy when it comes to fancy places. On the safety side of things, that comes from trust between my cuddle friend and I, or else I'd never be there, and also through my safety contact, who has a plethora of information on every cuddle I partake in, and receives check-ins at expected intervals.

@WestsideMarc So what’s the problem with that?
@Sooson because if they happen to mind being a guest at a hotel, I can explore another option. What you just described sounds sketchy.
Women prefer to ghost rather than disagree, which usually turns into a useless argument. Since you pinpointed their ghosting, it sounds like your messages may be off-putting in tone. Just because you are paying someone, doesn't mean they don't have input. I ghost guys I barely know from dating apps who try dominant crap on me.
@starrynitecuds the line of questioning goes,
Can you host?
No.
Okay, do you mind being a guest at a hotel?
[no response]
One of them wasn’t even a pro, and I’m asking if they mind, so there’s no implication that they have no input.
I worked in hotels for more than 16 years, and people often don't understand the star rating system or hotel/motel difference, etc. I have no problem meeting and cuddling at a hotel or motel of any star rating - I rather go by guest reviews and knowledge of the area.
Star ratings have to do with the amenities offered and luxury of a property, not necessarily the quality of the stay. You can have a 1-2 star hotel that is impeccably clean and great service, and you can have 4-5 star hotels where corners are cut and the staff are terrible. There's no international standard for star ratings and they can vary from country to country, as well. I mostly stay in 2-3 star hotels as they usually are more than adequate for my needs and are far more budget-friendly than their higher star cousins that have a lot of frills I don't need.
Also, while colloquially people tend to associate motels with sketchy roadside places, it isn't a standardized term. It's a combo of "motor" and "hotel", so originally was used to apply to any hotel close to highways and catered more towards tourists while hotels were more in city centers and catering towards business travellers. Motels may have exterior hallways, or they may not. They may be cheaper and offer fewer amenities, or they may not. They may be lower quality or in high crime areas, or they may not. Basically, you cannot base a decision on the quality of a property off of whether it is referred to as a motel or hotel as the words are almost interchangeable now.
If someone is not comfortable or trusts you , they will likely not meet you regardless of location . If someone is comfortable and trusts you , they will likely meet you regardless of location . You might be focusing on the wrong things here .
I am OK with three star hotels and up, but I require a deposit for any location that is not a private residence.
FWIW while we are having this conversation i just received a response from a pro I reached out to 8 days ago. Patiance people. Don't overthink the no responses and expect nothing.
@Sooson Oh gawd, I've responded to people ten months later. Not responding has everything to do with me being overwhelmed in life, and nothing to do with a lack of interest in the sweet people in my inbox. But I completely understand if others won't understand or tolerate my severe lag issues.
@sooson I have had a pro that reached out a year later in response to a message. We ended up with a fantastic session. She laughed when I asked her if I could have 12 month zero percent financing since she took a year. Yeah, that was a big no from her.
I saw a pro awhile back who hosted at a Motel 6. The room itself was decent but there were shady looking characters all over the place. Several people appeared to be longish term residents. There were several people walking around who appeared to be on drugs, had mental illness or both (I’m not judging). I was concerned about my car being in the parking lot to the point that I parked a block away at a restaurant that appeared much safer. I was concerned for the pro that I was with more than anything. She seemed fine though and unbothered so maybe I made more of it than it was. In the future however, I will look up where the pro is hosting and if I don’t feel comfortable, I won’t proceed with the session.
@Morpheus wise choice
@Morpheus For what it's worth, there's "shady characters" outside fancy hotels downtown in every city, too. Though I do feel you on the parking bit. Personally, I prefer to have my vehicle parked within eyesight, when possible.
@BoomerSpooner Awesome story. I think my "record" is a month or so. And speaking of finance, what were your thoughts exactly on @WestsideMarc 's hotel reccomendations? Be the cause of it then offer to buy the place for 40 cents on the dollar? Not a bad idea. Also next time offer to write a check and she how she respons
@deathwish
There is no need to ask
Can you host ?
It's in her profile
I also never ask if they are OK with a motel/hotel. Just say "I host at the Red Roof near [Main and South Street]. No one has ever said I don't do motels.
Also next time offer to write a check and she how she respons
One that is drawn from the Bank of Dumbsh#t.
@LionsFan I’ll try that next time
