Does anyone know why all of the ‘cuddlers nearby’ on my main page are the same 12 people - who have not been active in the past 4-5 months, How does the website choose who shows up in your feed? 🤔
In your cuddlers filter you can set the oldest activity it will show as well as the maximum distance from you.
When I got to see who is around I have changed the filters - and so I see those who have been on recently, but it seems to reset to the same people when I just open up the web page.
It doesn’t really matter as I’m not messaging folks unless they message me first, it’s just curiosity that has me asking.

I think I got in early here. I’m biding my time, waiting for the numbers to steadily rise around me like an incoming tide.
@zerolight40 Ya know, if you can get on some social media platform frequented by people in your area and tell them about CC, you can generate your own tsunami, rather than waiting for the tide.

If your area is short on cuddle buddies, the site has a poster you can print off. Consider/ask about hanging this up around town on bulletin boards, in community hotspots, tucking it into a library book, leaving it on public transit, giving a stack to your local cafe, taping it to that one red light that never changes, etc. 📌📚🚦

I’m not on social media fortunately. I keep away from the obvious ones because I don’t think they’re any good for my mental health. In the old days I was on all of them.
