@natickben I totally agree. Short term rentals are driving up housing prices in my town and wrecking the vibe of my neighborhood. And people get mad at people for being homeless instead of the system that causes it. No AirBnB’s for me.
I’ve actually never used Airbnb, I use Vrbo. Not every rental charges a crazy clean up fee. If the cleanup fee is too much, I choose a different rental. I don’t know if Airbnb is the same way.
I like hotels cuz they generally have cameras outside, in the halls, and in the elevators, but I like Airbnbs because the check out time is more flexible, so if you stay up all night chatting while cuddling, you can sleep in later undisturbed the next day.
