What is the optimal level of fatigue for going into a cuddle session?

I am an engineer, so I say things like "optimal level." Sorry πŸ˜‚

And very new to the enthusiast cuddling world.

As a non-pro, do you rather book a future cuddle session:

  • At the end of a day where you know you'll be tired for the session
  • Early in a day, or otherwise at a time where you know you'll be well rested for the session

I'm certainly interested to hear thoughts from pros as well.

  • Pro here, and optimal to me = participants are equally comfortable. Not too high strung, but also not dead tired. In meditation terms, I'd call this a "theta" state.
If the objective is to lay comfortably with each other, it's best to not be overly restless. But the goal is to feel relaxed, soothed, and cozy, so it's more enjoyable if we're not immediately falling asleep either.
I have had sessions in the morning, afternoon, and evening. I've never had anyone fall asleep on me, but I'm sure I've left clients set up for a great night's sleep (or a really uplifting day) once I leave.

I thought you was talking about the time, I was about to simply answer: none. But, given the parameters you outline here, I would say held strong, and as long as we could both possibly go on for within the human realm. 😊

Hi @donhulio . Personally, if I am meeting a cuddler for the first time, I want to be sure I am rested and alert.Whether it is an enthusiast or pro, she will likely be uncertain and will need reassurance. I also would not know the level of support she might be able to offer. It is only after I have had at least one session with her before I can think of cuddling when I am stressed or fatigued.

@zerolight40, thanks for pointing out the somewhat confusing wording. I've tried to update it to be more clear as to the question I'm trying to answer.

@donhulio It’s okay. We get the gist of what you mean. πŸ™‚ You’re searching for the point at which both parties will be too tired to participate. Me? I’m never too tired.

  • When I hear enthusiast, I assume female non-pro. Is that what you mean or do you mean clients as well, all non-pros?

  • @donhulio Interesting question, and it certainly springboards well off of this thread.

I'm an enthusiast. Off the top of my head, I've met up as early as 6:00 A.M. in a park, 45 minutes before sunrise. πŸŒƒ πŸ˜† I've met up as late as 10:00 P.M. on a coffee shop patio. πŸ§‹πŸ₯±

But my preference is late mornings or the afternoons, for multiple reasons...

For one, I always cuddle while traveling, and sleeping in is usually deeply needed. πŸ˜–

Daylight is just common safety sense, when meeting new people off the internet. 🧐

I start all my cuddle friends off in public; often parks, so the temperature is usually perfect once the sun has been out awhile, but not at it's zenith.

These times avoid the need for meal breaks...or, if we're having a phenomenal cuddle, we can break for lunch together during the hottest part of the day, and continue cuddling, after! 🀭

Last but far from least, public cuddles in daylight make it incredibly clear that the vibe is platonic...nothing about it feels date-like or romantic, and there's no awkward parting near bedtime where they might try to ask me to continue the cuddle at their house.

@1_teddybear Your approach sounds both wise and thoughtful.

    @Morpheus, I meant any non-pros πŸ‘

    @SunsetSnuggles, interesting thoughts.

It always disappoints me to be reminded of the precautions women today have to take.

we can break for lunch together during the hottest part of the day, and continue cuddling, after! 🀭

This cracked me up, because in Kansas, the hottest part of the day is from an hour after sunrise to an hour after sunset πŸ₯΅

What I would give to live in a cooler climate 😊

  • @donhulio πŸ˜… Aw man, come up to the mountains of Wyoming...it never goes over 80 degrees, and the wildlife is off the charts!

  • For myself as a Pro, I don't cuddle 'tired'. If its a very late session I nap ahead of time. A) im there to provide a service, not sleep and B) my personal safety. From what my clients have said- they either want to see me directly before their 'bedtime' so they can just drift off afterwards, or- they want to see me early right after getting up to get centered and focused for the day.

  • Um. The sunglasses sun should be "B" πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

  • Usually my schedule only allows for afternoon/evening. On the rare days when I can do a morning session, I think I’d really rather wait til at least after lunch. In the morning, I’ve normally had enough laying down and I’m ready to get up and moving. The only exception, an over night cuddle, and if we both had more time in the morning, sure, cuddle more after breakfast.

πŸ’― Yes, yes, yes, love this approach! This is what I was trying to convey, here.

⬆️Pro. It seems like half my clients like to cuddle at the end of the work day or on the weekend when they’re tired or frazzled because it helps them unwind and de-stress. The other half like to cuddle before work or during a mid-day work break because cuddling energizes them!

But that’s why i always do a brief vid chat beforehand with new clients so i can not only introduce myself, but find out what kind of session the clients want to have and what their goal is. (To have a calm, relaxing session? To have a more upbeat, talkative session? Etc.) That helps me to make our session the best it can possibly be and my clients love me for itπŸ₯°

And as for me personally, I never cuddle tired. I always want to make sure my client is taken care of and has all my attention. Even if that means he falls asleep in my arms and I snuggle him until he wakes up from his napβ™₯️

  • I definitely don't like to cuddle tired, since I want to get the full experience of the session. I can still get very relaxed and comfortable without being tired. So time of day doesn't really matter for me, but it pretty much has to be on a weekend or a day off of work. My job exhausts me both physically and mentally, so I need to be refreshed to actually enjoy the session.

  • I am an engineer, so I say things like "optimal level." Sorry πŸ˜‚

Perhaps C-3P0 is available for a cuddle?

  • I don’t necessarily plan for either. If I’m just cuddling, I can do that tired or not. I plan more around being clean or not. I have a physical job so I try to not plan a session if I know I’ll be out in the field that day. I either plan a session when I have a day off or when I have an admin day at the office.
