Curious About Pricing Filters and Rates

Here's what I think, based on past experiences: There is a slight negative correlation between price and quality of cuddle experience. If someone charges more than average, it's likely (but of course not guaranteed) that her mentality is essentially "I don't like the idea of cuddling strangers, but hey, if people want to pay this much, I'll do it." That mentality is unlikely to lead to a great cuddle.

I'm not so sure about the correlation between very high prices and sex work. I think it's plausible, but generally sex workers here work by upselling - basically they agree to the cuddle, but then once they arrive they try to convince the client to pay more for extras. I'm not sure how it would work if they're already charging a higher price to begin with - how would the potential client know what they're getting?

@ATemporaryUser0 Wouldn't someone who charges a lot and isn't that great a cuddler not stay in business for long?

  • These are some really interesting comments-Very revealing.

@hsa987 -You ask a great question and I firmly believe that was your intent. To genunielly inquire about the different prices of cuddlers on here.

I completley agree with @TxTom on both points- "Too expensive and not worth it" is merely a matter of personal choice and taste. Asking for a discount would not be the way I would want to estabish a relationship with a Pro Cuddler- there are so many varied price ranges and tons of cuddlers that it seems silly to go that route.

It is certainly within reason to ask a business why they are more expensive than the typical price you see as long as it is done respecfully

While there are still some who blindly deny that looks play a part in pricing-I will let you go through the prices and profiles and decide that for yourselves.

I find it extremely interesting that women members who suggest some pros may be "offering extras" or are advertising services beyond platonic cuddling are not met with any where near the same venom as men who have suggested the same point.

We should not judge either way as both Pro and members who avail themselves of their service are adults and free to do as they wish.

    @BrianOcean
If you're referring to my comment to @SnugglyChelle , it's because she didn't make an accusation or implication but rather made a statement about wondering if thats an assumption that people make . I am aware that I could have misread the intent, but that's what I got from it. And it's a fair question especially since she is new here, considering she is a pro cuddler so has to be more concerned about whether that is ever an issue . The statement I make about men complaining about rates is based off of years being on the site and seeing the same comments over and over usually from the same people, so there is a history of it. It becomes an agenda pushing topic. Dont try to turn this into a man vs woman why you picking on us poor guys sort of thing . I'm not the guy and that ain't it .

  • @pmvines
My comment had NOTHING to do with you. Period.
I was making an observation that you have a right to disagree with.- As far as "your'e not the guy" comment-Whatever the heck that means- You sound a little self absorbed. If you have issues with your own comments then work it out with yourself but don't project onto other people.

There was an OP and many people commented- This is not about you even though your comment to me suggests you would like it to be.

@SnugglyChelle has every right to make her observation and I have no problem with it. The notion that a man making the same comment would not be lambasted- put in timeout and continuoulsly lectured is more denial that some of us find amusing.

  • Dear @SnugglyChelle You didn't sound like you were slut shaming. I've read several of your posts in other places and you seem like a sweet person I would want to know.

  • @achetocuddle
Agreed . My post to her was to let her know that I was not directing my comment about low key slut shaming based on rates towards her .

  • As a professional cuddler I've been doing this many years. I have went from $85 an hour as my rate and received some really great clientele but a majority of my clientele at that rate were even trying to push me down to 65 an hour and then half of them wouldn't show up would ghost me or would never pay me the full amount when they walked in the door. I gradually went up in my rates as I became more of a professional at this and understood the type of people that I was seeking out. My rates are the way they are because I don't want the people that are going to flake out on me and I want those that are serious about cuddling and about my services to respect the fact that my rates are because I'm a professional. That's not to say that those who charge less than I do are less professional I just am comfortable at the rate that I am charging. I have had very few complaints about my rates in which I tell them if they're interested in more hours I will definitely negotiate with them. Along with me doing my sessions I provide the place to cuddle so it cost me money to rent the space that I have. It also cost me money to travel so all of that expense is included in when they cuddle with me. I hope that explains a little bit as to why my rates are the way they are. Being a professional cuddler has a lot of stigma already with it even if the rates are low. But I love what I do I love meeting the people in this community and getting to know those who are in it. I hope that helps with the cost? Have a great day and best of luck on finding the perfect cuddler for you.

  • I had a random tell me I should lower my price to 50hr and maybe I'd have more action... I was like, uhhhhhh what. You don't even know me and I'm fine, thanks for your concern.. but kindly don't insult me. I have many regulars in my local area that aren't part of this site. So I might not have a ton of reviews yet, but I have a ton of experience and if my price was lower I'd never have a second of freedom. Lol
    Its about B A L A N C E ☯️ 🥰💫

We are overthinking prices. Based on my experiences and what I'm hearing from others, there is no correlation between the price the quality of the service provided. And if that is the case and a client is likely to get the same experience regardless of price (or even better experience with the lower prices according to a great point @ATemporaryUser0 made) then that makes $200 an hour undisputably too expensive. it means paying twice as much for the same. it's that simple.
So how can those who lecture that the $200 an hour cuddler is the same as the $100 an hour cuddler have any beef with those who claim that $200 is too much? yes, I know some can easily afford it, but I suspect most cant. I personally have no issues with it. pros will adjust their prices higher or lower and test the market. Although if you want to point to affordably as a factor, just go and see who plays slots. In most cases, those who can least afford it. "affordable" can mean 10 different things to 10 different people for 100 different reasons.

I'm not so sure about the correlation between very high prices and sex work. I think it's plausible, but generally sex workers here work by upselling - basically they agree to the cuddle, but then once they arrive, they try to convince the client to pay more for extras.

I never paid more than $100 an hour so I cannot speak to that but. I have a feeling that there is either very little correlation or none at all between prices and "extras" built into the rate. but let's be real, it's not like anyone who experienced otherwise will run over here to tell us about it. so, this is not a conversation that will get honest input from both sides and therefore some sort of a waste of time to have.

I'm not sure how it would work if they're already charging a higher price to begin with - how would the potential client know what they're getting?

Assuming extras are factored into the rate, he wouldn't know until the time of the session. If she doesn't like him then she is a legit pro and has a list of rules and if she likes him then wink wink. it's as simple as that. and its true across all price ranges. if you doubt it, ask anyone whose been here for few years how many banned pros pop up on their DM scroll. The platform may be platonic, but our DNA isn't. The moderators do what they can do but people are people, and this has been discussed about a million and half times here.
Assuming the cuddler charging a high rate is a legit cuddler that follows CC rules then the client just paid $200 for what he could have got for a $100. And there could be many legitimate reasons to do so. I don't drive the cheapest car and I don't eat the cheapest food.
Also, as some here previously stated, not two sessions are the same and you don't know how you will match with a specific pro. 5 different people who met the same pro may have 5 different opinions about her "value" and quality of service. So the one you call expensive may be reasonably priced to another

    @ElleCuddleMi $125 is becoming the new $100 so you're fine :)

I have known quite a few that started at 40 or 60 an hour and now charge 100 or 125 an hour.

I have noticed that as well, I once even suggested to a pro that she should raise her price :)

Great point. i had great cuddles in the 80-100 range.

@ATemporaryUser0 Wouldn't someone who charges a lot and isn't that great a cuddler not stay in business for long?

you kinda answered your own question in page 1. also, there is zero cost to keeping a bait here, so why not.

The reasons why Pros charge what they do is as numerous and varied as anything could be. And not all the reasons have to do with supply and demand.

And sometimes there is no reason at all. But assuming there are reasons, first: I doubt it is a brainstorming experience with graphs and charts that reaches to the level of smoke coming out of her ears. it is more likely a "let's see what others charge and how they compare to me and let's try and see how this price works" second: the claim that some pros price themselves irrationally assumes that the potential client/customer is rational and wise with their decision and in many cases they are not. for as many reasons as @TxTom stated that factor into a pro's price decision making. the point is that pricing yourself irrationally for irrational clients/customers, is effectively rational. (Read it again slower if you didn't get it. no one will know :) ) . So, some of those higher priced pros may be smarter than given credit for. Some have been here for years charging $150 and $200 an hour without lowering their prices so it must be working for them.

While there are still some who blindly deny that looks play a part in pricing-I will let you go through the prices and profiles and decide that for yourselves.

Because it's just a popular opinion to have here. they know your assessment is correct!

I find it extremely interesting that women members who suggest some pros may be "offering extras" or are advertising services beyond platonic cuddling are not met with any where near the same venom as men who have suggested the same point.

What else is new? that's how it is here. get used to it :). though i suspect there are plenty of cat fights on the pros-only board.

@SnugglyChelle Not seeing any shaming in your comments either.

Another thought about prices and "expensive" (grab a calculator if you have to) : Assuming you're a client interested in a 2 hour session and need to get a place in order to host. Cuddler A can host and charges $150 an hour. Cuddler B charges $100.00 an hour but cannot host. who is more expensive? The bottom-line price may not be the advertised price and those who are more flexible will incur a lower cost with the same pro at the same rate.

Conclusion: discussing prices is a waste of time.

    Conclusion: we overthink
