To everyone complaining about giving a few dollars to a person who just helped you - most likely with personalized service (specifically delivery drivers and servers at a restaurant) - definitely hold on to that $1 or $2 tip if you need it that much. You’re not hurting the restaurant nor are you effectively making a statement or a causing a change, only hurting the server.
