@waynewv I'm curious - the last picture appears to be a different shade of blue; was that a different paint job, or just the photo turned out a little different? Did you always have it painted blue? Also, when did you finish building it?

@donhulio it’s just the way the phone camera took it. Always the same shade of blue, it’s a 1959 Ford color. I’m doing a repaint on it now. A little different shade. The color of my Ram pickup. It’s getting harder to get a paint shop to mix up the old colors. It was done about 17 years ago. It took 3 years to built it. That was working about every night after getting off work and the weekends. Me and 1 friend built it .

@pmvines I recently had her painted and took a road trip. Need better pics to show her off, but she's filthy right now lol She's not black... It's a color changing paint called Abyss Midnight Pearl. Flops between blue, purple and indigo. I lurve it so hard!
@pmvines , I guess that may be true, lol I built my blue truck in run in the hammer lane , the left lane on the interstates It being a diesel it has a governor on it and it’s set at 2400 rpm and run it up against the governor a few times, here is a picture of the speedometer. She is faster than it looks.

@waynewv I'm a Chevy girl haha. My other camaro died so I bought a new one. I test drove the brand new 2024 and honestly wasn't impressed - the interior (moon roof, door handles, etc) seemed cheap and shoddy. So I got a 2016.

LOVE the Nature, and the Fat Bottoms on the Black! @BashfulLoner~ That one doesn't look like it was designed for "muscle," it looks like it was designed for speed! The contouring and low profile seem ideal for aerodynamic efficiency, and the color gives it an almost "mirage" effect! Thanks for sharing!
