I was sent to Houston in the Summer to work many years ago after one of the hurricanes. The first day of work, just from my walk from the hotel to my work truck, I was literally drenched in sweat.
@tcktravel I was down in Houston for Beryl a few weeks ago. When are they going to invest in some infrastructure? That hurricane moved in and instantly the power went out in the entire metro area. I drove out of the city during the back end of the storm that morning to Dallas and power was out all the way past Huntsville! Bury those power lines!
But yes, cuddling outside in Houston is a non-starter. There is a reason there are walkways between buildings downtown.
@TheFunCartel Houston has a ton of corrupt leaders and investing in infrastructure takes a back seat to lining their pockets. You would think a major metropolitan area, on the gulf coast would have the infrastructure to handle a cat 1. It should have been practically a non event( not that cat ones are trivial), but obviously the city was in no way prepared.
Oh, if you need a side hustle, come to Houston and resell home generators that you can pick up out of state. They are the hot commodity now because no one has faith in the grid and currently all the local installers are backed up 6 months or more!
@Morpheus I spent the first week in July up just north of Vancouver visiting family, and when I did get back to Houston (literally the day before the hurricane) just stepping out from the airport to the waiting area was like walking through soup. You forget how 'heavy' humidity makes the air until you're out of it for a week or so!
That’s interesting about fireflies. I moved to North Dallas in 1976. Lived in Oak Lawn, lower Greenville, Las Colinas, Kessler Park, Coppell, Farmers Branch, Preston Hollow and then Denton. Raised two children here, and we never saw them. So you must have lived in a special neighborhood that I haven’t lived in. Lucky you. Whenever going home to visit my family, we always saw them. 🤔
CHEMTRAILS :O lol I'm sure it's from habitat loss or something like that, or pollution introduced into the environment, everyone was so concerned about bees but they forgot about all the other bugs that pollinate plants. Of course I could be totally wrong might just be the temperature. Many variables I'm sure.
Had a chance last week to share a warm hug inside of The Fremont Tree at Henry Cowell State Park. 🙂🌲
For the inside of a tree, The Fremont Tree is a busy space, attracting both young and old a like, so having a full cuddle there might be problematic, though I have cuddled in the forest a few times with very trusted partners.
I want to know what does public mean is it a public place or public park or something?

Whether it be a restaurant, movie theater, park, Walmart or even a church...Hell, you can even go a stroll and hold hands around your own neighborhood!😊

I think that “Public” could also mean an “Activities Partner”. As a Professional Cuddle Provider it is not unusual to be hired to spend a half day at the museum, go miniature golfing, or playing chess in the park (Mental note - Add “Playing Chess” to my profile). How would cuddling enter you ask? Holding hands or the modified “Standing Spoons” while viewing a painting at a museum.
