I think of myself a year ago, and I would've been so anxiety-ridden and walled off (and likely wouldn’t have attended). Finding my way to cuddling has been one part of opening my heart up, and I am so grateful for the people who have shared the message with the world—here online, and in doing the physical work of supporting peoples’ growth.

I am experiencing a very classic CO kind of day. 4” of fresh white snow blanketing the land with bright sunshine arriving around the corner. TWO somewhat opposite things happening at exactly the same moment in my world. (It works this way with my emotions as well!!)
I just made it home. Did not beat the blizzard. Got stuck in Abilene, KS. The interstate was shut down from Sunday at 1 AM to yesterday afternoon and it was still a harrowing drive home. There was 1 inch of ice and wound up with 20 inches of snow in Abilene but the snow came down mixed with sleet so it was an ice rink. Less than 180 miles to my house and it took 5 hours to drive to the airport. Now I have to drive from the airport to home. About 35 miles and my ring camera revealed my street has not been plowed yet. I do live out on the fringes of civilization though next to a wildlife preserve. So not a priority.

Connecting with new and old friends. Sigh. So lovely. Also learning more about myself & others through eye opening workshops, and deciding how I am going to implement that new knowledge for the future is HARD WORK emotionally. I needed that reminder today
The forums are full of our struggles. Oxytocin drop, loneliness, depression, desire for deeper, more meaningful and authentic relationships…. All those things will not be solved by a quick deliriously enjoyable snuggle. (It’s a helpful tool but only one of many)
Sending everyone big hugs and reminders to treat yourself with grace and kindness as you are working through ALL THE FEELS.
I kept my registration bracelet on because it’s a reminder every time I touch it or look at it.
For me… I keep reflecting on the joy & pain that comes with such a growth opportunity. IYKYK

I dragged my exhausted booty out of bed at 6:00 A.M. for it, but had this early morning rendezvous not been set up, I'd have missed not just finally meeting your awesome bottle of sauce, but sharing unexpected wonderful moments with so many others, as well. 🫂 Thank you!
Thank you to each one of you who gave quick hellos, a surprise hug from behind, 📝 life updates happy and tough, ❤️🩹 an open heart to accepting encouragement, deep talks, 🫨 a 2nd floor balcony yelp of excitement, a spontaneous couch puppy pile, 🧸 inner child vulnerability, gentle sighs of relaxation, a shining example of leadership, words and actions of inclusiveness, reuniting hugs, hand holding, conscientious cuddles, happy waves, 👢 giggles and snarkiness, an intent listening ear, long calming holds, an account of recent pain, quiet nuzzles and shoulder leans, hair scruffles,🌡 phenomenal ongoing consent checks, 🙅🏻♀️ respect for my "no", words of comfort for my family, ☎️ offers of contact info, 💧 space for my tears, meaningful goodbyes, and connection after parting ways.
I was only able to be there for a short time, but it was, as I had wished everyone from afar the previous day...beautiful. So grateful. 🫠🌱🌷🥹

Oh @Shake we missed you. It was lovely. On so many levels. @SunsetSnuggles glad you got to make it for a little bit. Sounds like you wound up with a LOT of loveliness packed into a very small window. 🌞 The Meet & Greet was fantastic, but connecting a plethora of people with such varied backgrounds to learn about relationships was WOW. It worked out so well to do it in the middle of the workshop and Cuddle Party event!! Felt a little bit like what a Mini Cuddle Expo might feel like.
So fun to experience something new with people who are so extraordinary!!
It was so helpful to see how people in the Cuddle Community relate and process.... Gosh so much goodness. The tendrils of emotional upheavel are slowly settling back into place, but with all sorts of shiny new things added into the mix. Thank you to some of our amazing Professionals who are also super smart and proficient in relationship skills.
You have my gratitude and my heart. 💗

Whew! This was quite a transformative experience for me, for a number of reasons.
My takeaway from this is, I think I need to get out of California and relocate to Colorado. We have a mold problem here in CA, but there's no mold in CO, and I need to get away from this accursed mold exposure! Also, California is on a fault line, but Colorado is on solid ground. My health has been failing me here in CA, but when I was briefly in CO, I felt so much more alive!
Shoutout to @justjennn, @Hugginghealer, @RedFox16, and Kassandra Brown who is not on Cuddle Comfort, for making this possible!
The workshops had me introspect on my traumas, attachment styles, neurodivergence, and, perhaps most importantly, the necessity for me to pursue energy work, as it seems, many or all of my chakras are partially or totally blocked! Yikes!
Lastly, I would like to make a shoutout to my AMAZING! cuddle connections, in particular, @Ineedahugortwo, @CaitClare, @AlyLauren, and, last but not least, @SunsetSnuggles. You all know why. I said everything that needed to be said in private and will not post any details here.
To my lovely cuddle buddies, I will be returning to Colorado, for some amazing hikes, and of course, much-needed quality time and snuggles! I'm hoping for April.

If we should ever be blessed with the opportunity, I would like to share snuggles with you while watching the sunset, and while watching the sunrise.
And thank you for your appreciation of my old username, MountainCuddles. However, the problem with old my username is that it was an abbreviation. It should have been MountainManCuddles, but that would have exceeded the 15-character limit.
So, I feel like something like Sunrise Snuggles is both more complete and more cohesive.
Plus, I feel like it's time for a change, as a token of the transformation I underwent at the conference.
Username changes are limited to once per year. I may decide to change my username to something entirely different in a year, who knows?
Lastly, I would like to share one of my best sunrise pictures along with one of my best sunset pictures. The first picture is from my Yosemite trip from August 2024. Sunrise over Tuolumne Meadows, as viewed from Lembert Dome summit. The second picture was taken from Angel Vista, a hilltop in Newbury Park, California, July 2024. This was my first time attending a Meet and Greet event, and wasn’t sure what to expect. It totally surpassed any expectations I could’ve had.

We just got back from this really fabulous area and stayed in a Historic Hotel Colorado!! The “Teddy Bear” was created by the housekeepers here for Theodore Roosevelt. Very cool stories. The unsinkable Molly Brown even stayed there. ♥️
