  • I like this idea haven't had cuddles in a while, but not one to accept charity

  • Hello! The Hanging Cuddle has been claimed! Right away, in fact. I'm presently working with the recipient, and forgot that I needed to update this thread. ๐Ÿ˜ณ Thanks for the reminder, @JWestfall ๐Ÿ˜…

I'm amused by how many of you envisioned "Hanging Cuddle" as a suspended hammock. ๐Ÿ˜„ @kleen @SunsetSnuggles @lovingspoonfull (loved your neighbor's dog avocado story! ๐Ÿถ ๐Ÿฅ‘ )

We have a location here affectionately known as "Hammock Hideaway", so I have actually witnessed several hammock hanging cuddles tucked away in the trees near the river. ๐Ÿ˜

  • I really appreciate all the support for this idea and the genuine and heartfelt thank you's to myself and @WestsideMarc.
    So, thank you ๐Ÿซต๐Ÿผ @RadiantHugs @GuyverGordon @justjennn

And a separate shout out to @CuddleDuncan for sharing the list of best practices. Very useful now, and going forward. Cheers!

  • @g_w_t_w, I have experienced the drive-thru pay it forward phenomenon. It was many, many years ago, but I remember the moment distinctly! I was tickled to receive a little unexpected freebie from a total stranger that I would never meet. I remember it was a long wait at a Burger King, I was in a great mood and singing or laughing at something on the radio. If the car in front of me looked in their rearview mirrors, they saw me being totally silly during the long wait, enjoying myself. I was thinking that was why they paid for my meal, because I amused them. And I accepted with great joy. However, I did not pay it forward to the car behind me. I didn't know it was a thing to keep it going. I figured it was a one-time occurrence between us two strangers in line. The drive-thru attendant didn't mention anything about continuing to pay it forward. I remember them being tickled at the gesture, which made me think it was a one-off token of appreciation (for not becoming upset during the long wait).

I'll keep this in mind next time I'm going thru the drive-thru. I'll look behind me and see if they could possibly benefit from a pay it forward gesture.

@SunsetSnuggles, thanks for the Starbucks Stories. That helps fill in the context of the hanging coffee analogy.

@Bear, I appreciate your cuddle sponsor story from the cuddle parties in your past. It's a Thing. And it continues!!

@WestsideMarc, you didn't hijack the thread, I found your alliteration play delightful. The 5 C's: Cuddle Comfort Community Cuddle Cup
    ...is fun to say!

And @JoyfulHeart, your quintuple-A alliteration is a riot. I had to Google it and you know what I found?

AAAAAA - American Anti Acronym And Alliteration Association

    It exists!! ๐Ÿคฃ

My favorite cuddle pro and myself are big fans of the alliteration. We're stuck on the S.
Sara Snuggles, Sara Smile (our song, btw!), and Sara Special. I found out only recently that, yes, her actual last name begins with S. I just knew it would be...
