The idea that grocery stores couldn't operate without computers seems silly to me. I had a shop and I rang people through without a PC no problem on the one occasion I needed to. Computers help with inventory and purchases but they're not required.
As to freeze dried or dehydrated foods, I have plenty. Rice, lentils, beans, etc. I have a sack of flour too. I have like a month of food probably.
