This year, I have browbeaten...uh...I mean cajoled...uh..tortured...wait. Um... This year, I have gained the agreement of my fella to dress up as Mad Max and Aunty Entity!!! I'll come back and post pics of us in our gear, after we go out, get drunk and rowdy, get arrested, bribe a few officials, and get back to normal life!!! hahahahahaha!!!

I used to have a go to "Tyler Durden" (Fight Club) costume. Thrifted so bad it's cool pleather jacket over a floral shirt, sunglasses, touch up the hair a bit and add some blood and scars.

Nothing going on to dress in costume this year. But I have a coverall that add a prop weapon and some makeup effects or something, BAM I'm a slasher villain.

Went to a hospice patients house yesterday and it was so decked out both inside and out with decorations. Wife said that friends in the neighborhood know how much he loves.halloween and has always been big into decorating but he's too sick and debilitated so they all came together to make it a Halloween wonderland for him. So touching .

I don't think most of us realize just how much the small things matter. How doing something kind and targeted can make someone's ENTIRE DAY... Not just for holidays, either. The phone call, to just say "Hi!" Or the shoulder caress that says someone's work mattered. I LOVE living a life where I REMEMBER that we ALLLLLL have been through some battles, but are STILL STANDING..

I hope, from my heart, that when that man looked out and saw those decorations, that his WHOLE HEART sang!!! Mine certainly would have!!!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS
