I’m watching The Mighty Ducks (who even knows how many times I have seen it at this point) and in the beginning, the main character in the movie misses a game-winning shot as a pee-wee hockey player. He then goes on to be successful defense attorney that becomes obsessed with winning…before being assigned to community service for drunk driving.
Anyone here ever go through something similar? Perhaps you had a boss, like him, that sent him on a quest to become a better person to help them get over the trauma of letting their community down by losing a sporting match as a child?
I assume for most of us, this isn’t the case. So if not, let’s just pretend you did and we can try to figure out which hero’s journey you are referencing from popular media 😅
