Flaking / ghosting mega thread

It seems to me that once a week there is a thread on people not following through with cuddling. Its usually either female pros complaining that the client canceled the last minute, or guys complaining that women ghost them or dont show up. I was hoping to make a single thread in order to decrease the repetitive conversations. I was also curious who are the bigger flakes between the clients, pros, and enthusiasts.

  1. Who flakes more ?30 votes
    1. Women pros

    2. Men clients

    4. Women enthusiast

  • I would assume pros flake the least, do to the financial motive.

  • So your plan is te repeat one in order to reduce repeats?

  • Yes that way we get it out of our system and never argue again @ReltvlyCanshes

  • If ithis thread doesn't get stickied this plan is very unlikely to work

  • Just had a no show the other night after he called and confirmed a couple of hours before and requested my payment links...he didn't text to say he was running late or to cancel..would not respond to my texts...just went ghost.
I sent him the cancellation policy and referred him to the fine print that says he needs to give me half the fee as it's too late for me to replace him...but as per usual..crickets.
I don't think anyone but another pro fully understands everything that goes into getting ready and prepping for a session. There is so much to do before after and in between every single client! My time is just as valuable as anyone else. And I don't do this just for shits and giggles. This isn't even a side hustle. This is my bread and butter, literally. So if I think I'm making 120 dollars tonight and I am broke because I just paid all my bills and you don't show..well, guess Im going to have to hope and wait till something else comes along before I can buy those groceries...you really never know how much you can effect someones life. You never know what they are going through. Part of being kind is being considerate.
    Sigh Vent over!

  • How do we feel about leaving karma for these clients that choose to ghost instead of communicating??

  • @ThetaKitty good question, that should be the standard

  • I've been ghosted more times than I can count more as an enthusiast. And that's why I became pro. But as pro there are a lot of time wasters. For example a guy who wanted to book spent two days just trying to get some dirty chat. And I told him there are other sites for that. Either book or f off. I'm done playing games with these dudes

  • @ThetaKitty If ghosting occurs after booking was confirmed by both sides , leave a bad karma and also ensure you don't get charged the house fee. Any ghosting priot to a confirmed session is just CODB.

@Janelle19 A pro i met recently got ghosted out of 9 hours worth of promised cuddle time by two time wasters (no confirmed booking).
It's OK to chat with multiple prospects regarding the same timeframe and award the time to the first one that pulls the trigger.and as long as you run into someone you don't mind chatting with, If they lose the spot to another client because they chatted for few days, and didn't book thats on them.

And as I previously said : until you see the mental midget at the door there is no cuddle session.assume nothing and expect nothing.

@Sooson That may be a ghosting, but how is it "promised cuddle time" if the booking was never confirmed? The client never confirmed the booking, so why did the pro assume that the session was still on? It's only a no-show if both parties agreed to meet. But if the client never confirmed the booking that means they never agreed to meet. What am I missing?

I think a higher percentage of female enthusiasts flake than male clients. However, there are a lot more male clients than female enthusiasts, so if we're talking about sheer numbers, yes, male clients flake more than female enthusiasts.

@MountainCuddles we dontvl disagree here .and that is why she got a friendly lecture. Over time the ladies hopefully learn to read people better and to weed out the time wasters. But at the same time men should not abuse that state of non committing communications to build someone's hopes up. And there are some "free chat" seekers out there as well and their intentions are not allways bad.

Also see my last paragraph again.

And I was wondering why she was so happy to see me since im realy nothing special.but I guess actually showing up to a session was special that day.

  • You know what i think the problem with repeated subjects, is not the subject. It's not th OP either, they usually come with a different perspective or thought. It's the people who come to pick the same fight and complain that someone new hasn't come i land read all the fights we've had in here before. Hey look, not many people want to go relive the nonsense of the past. That belongs to the people who had the fight the first place. It's become rare that thoughtful conversation happens in here. It use to be what happened but for some reason of the 10% of people who read the forums and discuss 60% come to complain, pick fights and argue. For the most part you all know new people try and ask questions get input and participate. But what i see is that they are probably run off by the response they get. The thread gets hijacked by maybe the same 16 people that have some agenda to push.

My suggestion is if you said it before and it was valuable it would have stuck so there is no reason to say it again. Allow others to discuss so ideas can grow. People tag others and ask for input if your perspective is needed and they will.

I don't like being ghosted it sucks, but i also know people do it. Rant over.

Flakey people are the worst, i wish there was less of them. Rant over.

Yes i know there are various reasons why these things happen, doesn't make me feel better. Thanks

I'm going to walk away now.

  • @ReltvlyCanshes how often do you get ghosted

  • Well depending on the definition: if it's making connections and plans probably 2 out of 10. If it's having good engagements and it stops before plans are made 8 out of 10, with pros maybe 5 out of 10. If it's brief pleasantries and no longer responsive 8/9 out of 10. If it's cuddling and never talking again 3 out of 5.

It really depends on perspective, odds ain't great in here at least for me. I think I'm great, maybe I'm not.

  • @Mike102 i should also say that often the decision to not interact could be thought of as mutual or have a valid reason like we discussed getting together as enthusiasts but she decided to go pro. And then there are many that just stop using the site or delete profiles.
