The cuddling rules on this site aren't the same everywhere. Maybe that's why I don't see many of them advertised here? I get the feeling that a meetup or meet and greet are different than an actual cuddle party. From what I've read, cuddle parties seem more focused, not like a meetup. And there seems to be different levels of cuddle parties, some are platonic but some are not. Sometimes dishonest players infiltrate the platonic side, take advantage of easy prey, just like we see here on this site too often .

I've attended a decent amount of cuddle events in my area since June and would be happy to discuss them with you. I think a focus on consent is essential to build safety and trust, while the facilitator(s) also need to hold responsibility for the event in case things go awry.
Starting with consent and boundary rules helps a lot, within cuddling events and even outside of them. I've gotten to know some facilitators who do this professionally and have websites. I can try to put you in touch with them if you are interested. I think this world needs as many safe events like this as it can get. Feel free to DM me about it. I am happy to help however I can.

Hello everyone. I think what would be so cool would be to invite the top cuddlers on the website anyone who has 20 karmas or better. It would be like a convention of top cuddlers lol. Anyone is welcome to come. You would have to pay a fee that would go towards the food. 🤗
@Nature_Lover_ Sounds good! There are always at least 2 events a month going on in my area, that I know of. If you are ever around the Los Angeles area and want info on them, let me know! They are a great community that I feel lucky to have found and I'm guessing you would fit right in.

Yeah, I've always been envious of the Colorado peeps and their ability to have cuddle events of all kinds. They make it seem almost effortless and having attended quite a few different events there over the years, I would just love to duplicate what has been done in Colorado and accomplish that here in Central Ohio. ( of course minus the sheer cruelty, preying on the vulnerable, and children playing with matches and dynamite! wowser!😳)
Currently where I reside, we do have had a very small group that's non related to CC that have had some gatherings posted on various social media sites, but they seem randomly scheduled and have very low attendance. Like most only had one or two persons show up or its cancelled altogether!
I think some of the best gatherings are the ones where everyone already knows each other or a person in your tribe personally vouches for someone new to the tribe. Like it has been mentioned above, we have had a lot of gatherings here over the years and boy it would be nice if I can figure out how to do something regular here in Central Ohio. I'm still working on it! 🤗
DO NOT attempt to host such an event unless you have sufficient training and helpers. To do so is sheer cruelty, preying on the vulnerable.
I too was preyed upon and could not evade the scars and horror of unsupervised cuddles. I was so traumatized that I wrote this little ditty:

Saw this on a video about cuddle parties. Edit: Not to mention, the pastel color palette the professional cuddler chose for her pillow arrangement was absolutely horrendous. I refuse to subject myself to these kinds of gratuitous abuses.

@jay350 that's kind of a cool concept but personally events which welcome everyone and are not monetized speak more to me. I love the idea of food though, as a lot of people have mentioned. @OhioMike Thanks and I would love to attend any kind of gathering you may choose to host in Ohio. I agree a great gathering can be has when people are familiar and comfortable with one another but I will also say that at a past gathering I went to I connected deeply with someone from the site I did not previously know.
