@SunsetSnuggles ~ Wisdom! Especially about the SD card. Reading about these things reminds me that I came up in a different, Polaroid time! Forewarned, as they say, is forearmed.. And I've got a mean one! lol

@Homesteader I love how you turned this into a fun thing to do with a friend. And if I had a regular cuddler that felt really comfortable with, I'd be up for this.

I'd really have to feel safe with them though, to be the focus of a photo shoot. I don't like attention being focused on how I look, though I think It'd be good for me to do just that.

I'm a photographer too and have done a few photo shoots with people as part of a film project. And I did headshots for a few friends. It did feel emotionally intimate to me, in a different kind of way. Platonic still of course, but it's a way of opening up with people about something many of us have insecurities about. So I completely understand the reservations people have, especially with a stranger. I wouldn't pose for a stranger. No way.

An ex girlfriend of mine was a great professional photographer. I let her shoot me once, for 10 minutes. And it felt really awkward to me. But it was also really powerful. If I had kept it up it could have been therapeutic. As it was though, it was just a very interesting experience.

  • You can help people with the right photo shoot:

  • As I do photography also I don’t think I would ask a client or even imagine offering a photoshoot with them. Now if we are talking and they ask to see photos sure or even set up another session just for photos then great. But sole purpose of this site is to cuddle.
