Have you ever accidentally met someone you knew with CuddleComfort?

  • I’ve run into regular clients twice that I can recall… at a swimming hole and at whole foods. It was great. Just as fun as running into any other acquaintance. 🥰

  • @Erin_Elle_
Lucky clients. I'm going to have to increase the frequency of my Whole Foods visits.

  • No but I did end up working with one of my clients twin brother. The funny thing is he had given me his brothers name and I had been seeing him for a long time. I never told either one.

  • I told her that wouldn't be appropriate and thanked her for her time

@archston Does that mean she got the job and she is your subordinate?

Or did she not get the job she was qualified for and you missed the opportunity to make a friend?

    Something’s missing here.

I wouldn't find anything awkward about running into @Nature_Lover_ at the grocery store.

    😁😁😁

    @TxTom Well better @Nature_Lover_ then ME. Lol😄

At least she'll be pushing a regular old shopping 🛒, not me though...😄
When you see me, you'll know it's ME. As I will likely be pushing one these bad boys down the aisle just get your attention, Tom:

    Lol 🤣😆

That is if I am not kicked out for solicitation charges.😆🍿😆🍿😆🍿

  • Three times

First time a man visited my profile from Nashville. After peeking back and reading his profile and seeing his pics and his 2 dogs I realized this was the husband of a woman who a girlfriend of mine at the time was seeing. Or rather she was seeing them both. It's complicated lol. But I didn't know him personally so I didn't strike up a conversation I just knew of him and had seen pics.

Second time was somebody who I had went out with a few times. I noticed a new user in Birmingham with no pic and I sent my usual welcome to the site it's so good to see a fellow Alabama person yada yada . She sends me a message with pic saying hey yo you know me lol. We ended up cuddling for a while until she moved on to bigger and better things. Very interesting experience to know each other in a different dynamic than how we started out and to keep things platonic after having already made out extensively in a past life.

Third time was recently. I received a message from somebody saying hey yo is that you? Ended up being somebody who I knew in different circles. Said she was giving the cuddle thing a try to see if it will help with her loneliness and anxiety. We messaged a couple times but she was only around a few days, driven off by the creepy weirdo brigade.

    Ooooh!

Maybe all three of us, dressed up as clowns like the Joker's henchmen, could run up and down the aisles, laughing!... each of us pushing a vintage popcorn machine,... posting outrageous, flag-worthy comments on the CC forums, whilst covering the floor in a slippery blanket of buttery popcorn!

    Muah-ha-ha!

driven off by the creepy weirdo brigade.

    😬

    @pmvines Dagnab, creepy weirdo brigade!😬

  • Yesterday I was at my preschoolers Christmas show at his school. Before the show starts the principal introduces the new music teacher and low and behold it was someone I recognized and is active on CC. I had messaged her in the past about cuddling but she never responded which is fine, however it was a bit of an interesting surprise to see her there!

  • Saw someone on a dating site here we matched but previously I turned down to cuddle on cc because price was too high but then when I asked to hang out in the dating site she still wanted me to pay the cc fee at least once even tho we matched on the dating site but wanted me to pay by the hour to hang out. Food ok fine bur 80hr just to walk and talk

Kinda ironic because I would have to pay 50 to 80 here for public cuddles and would be fine with it be I just figure if you match on dating your not held to the same standard but she said I had to lol so I declined and she unmatched

  • Also I have not

  • @FutureHeart2023
That’s so awful imo! Or it almost seems like her account here on CC should be reported for trying to book offsite? Maybe I’m wrong…
Anyway that’s a reflection on her, not you.

  • @KittyPukka . Like you said it's a shame that she wouldn't be able to get the job even though she's qualified for it if he felt uncomfortable or awkward. Which touches on a couple of theories. One how other people's feelings can impact another person's life if their emotions dictate their actions towards them.

I had a theory personally when it comes to cuddling and meeting people through cuddle comfort or anywhere to cuddle. I will probably start a threat about that one day.

But I have to do with a similar situation like this.

  • One time I met someone and I was mentioning about cuddle comfort as an idea. Because it's a great place to get that connection. And she mentioned that she was already doing cuddle comfort.

I didn't stay on the subject too long because I didn't want to be put in the category of if we connected further that it would only turn into a payment opportunity versus having an authentic friend that I can connect with.

  • @g_w_t_w if he reported her to the dating site, she would have been permanently banned from all platforms owned by the parent company. They don't take offers of dating for money kindly. Most companies do it on every possible link: phone number, email, photo recognition, etc. Plus they don't get refunds; some platforms will wait a day or two so people will buy a package thinking they're in the clear, then BAM! Busted!

  • @starrynitecuds
Never even thought of how the dating site would handle it. I’m just naive and not using social media except for CC and Reddit and hadn’t thought about the endless possibilities of a way for a person to earn a living. I need a job but I think I’ve aged out of that career.

  • @g_w_t_w dating sites don't allow charging for intimacy or dates, it's in their TOS. They don't want to be escort sites, so they take it seriously. MATCH owns quite a few sites, like POF, Tinder, and Hinge, along with Match.com. Screw up on one and the person is usually banned by all. The subreddits are full of people begging to know any tricks getting around a ban. Get a new phone, new number, new email, new anonymous credit card and new pics and they MIGHT have a slim chance. (Until the person who reported them sees them on there and re-reports them. BANNED CAMP time.)

  • It's bound to happen and has to me. We laughed because we didn't see it as a big deal and continued. It's the same way I've seen coworkers on dating sites. I don't message them or bring it up. If they bring it up to me I do my best to just let it go. But saying let's hangout if you don't offer them a job is problematic.

At that point, the person has to decide that you are not a client but a possible employer. stay away.

  • Oh and another time someone I knew to be of the adult entertainment variety worker ended up on my local cuddlers screen. They were banned within a day

  • Sounds like you have a new topic for your inner reflection.

It would be kind of you to refer her out to another branch or friend in the industry if you’re in a position to do so.

Cuddling requires a lot of unique social skills.
