Loneliness, IQ, Self Esteem, and “Defensive Arrogance”

The title of this video is “Why Smart Kids are the Loneliest”.

It is a fascinating, 22 minute video that may be helpful to some people on this site. I don’t know who, and this is not “targeted” at anyone in particular. I just know there are a lot of lonely people on this site and a number of people who are objectively above average intelligence.

Toward the end of the video he gets into the importance of “human touch” as a way of overcoming detrimental cognitive patterns.
