This is the year I'm really working on this!
At work some of us got promoted to be instructors including me. After getting taken to a meeting room where they went over the instructors manual I asked if I should really be there as the others knew they were picked earlier that day, but I didn't get the email.
I was told a resounding "YES" by my trainer only to get a message later it was a mistake.
Felt bad, man!
But I think it was because I wasn't expressing myself. I can be shy and a social butterfly all at once. I second guess myself a lot, spending time thinking what they would want me to say, rather than what I want.
I especially have problems doing it around authority figures and then they see me as non-genuine or hiding something.
Expressing ourselves is our weapon at work. It can be how we protect ourselves and also get our needs met. It is the key to manifesting our lives to match our inner desires.
Anyone else have trouble expressing themselves? Or clam up? Do you see a difference when you do and when you don't?
