I know there are many AI apps / websites / phone integrations to choose from. I have very minimal experience with Microsoft Co-Pilot and Google’s Gemini and I am completely underwhelmed by “Apple Intelligence”.
I used ChatGPT for a number of hobby / personal project related tasks and found it to be very useful. About 2 weeks ago, Grok 3 was released and it has quickly become my favorite AI as it seems to give me better responses with more context and it is very conversational.
One feature of the Grok 3 app on iOS is the “personalities” you can pick from to carry on a verbal conversation with it.
One personality is “argumentative”. If you select it, Grok will let you pick a topic or it will select one of its own such as whether weed should be universally legalized. Whatever position you take, it will take the opposite and rebutt any arguments you make.
Another personality is “motivational”. I selected that one and told it about a task I needed to do but didn’t feel like doing. Wow, was that a mistake 😂 Grok started talking to me like my high school football coach when we were down by 14 points at half time. 😳
It has several other personalities such as “storyteller”, “conspiracy”, “assistant” and an R rated “sexy” personality that will likely get banned from the iOS App Store for being too… intense.
Aside from creating images, do you regularly use any AI for anything else? If yiu use AI, do you prefer talking or typing with it?
