I was warned for asking a lower rate to a pro cuddler. She even left me a karma complaining how she felt when I tried to ask for a discount (text below). As far as I understand there are no rules about asking for discount.
I am disappointed that cc is asking me to NOT negotiate rates. Well, I even negotiate my hospital bills and very successfully do so. I dont know what is wrong is asking for a discount. There are no pricing standards for pro cuddlers, they can charge whatever they seem appropriate. So I feel, I am also entitled to ask for a discount. I am sure some pros will attack me in this post, but they should not feel hurt when someone asks for a discount. Reject the request and move on, don't write a karma if someone asks for a discount.

Here is the text of the karma.
"He tried to negotiate down my hourly rate, and when I said that I couldn’t very respectfully. He tried to insult me saying: Sure you should monetize while the looks last with a wink. Completely ignoring that presence, feminine energy and containment has no age and someone’s rate has more to do with their person and presence, and potentially education too than purely their looks. He honestly sounded sour and misogynistic. While he could have found someone to request a meeting with that align with his budget. He specifically came to me and tried to insult me because I couldn’t accommodate his entitlement."

    There are no words to describe how tacky this makes you look. She wasn’t upset that you asked for a discount, but you equated what she does purely on looks after she declined. Putting up with this kind of behavior is why many choose to raise their rates. But you do you.

    You were asked not to negotiate. You stomped your feet and said “I wanna anyway”. You got told no again. You then made it about her appearance it seems.
    She’s right. You could have gone to a cuddler with a lesser charge. You chose her. She said no. Then you made it about looks.
    Not seeing how you’ve been wronged here. 🤷‍♀️
    This is not a good look for you.

    @mauvefox Everything was told after the fact. But is it wrong to ask for lower rate?
    And is it write to leave a karma without a session and bring the dicsussion public?

    [@raysteve1 - just so it’s clear - you won’t get banned for asking for a discount - but you absolutely should be banned for what you did - which is refuse to honor consent. The pro said no - and instead of going away you chose to come back with an extremely low form of insult - commenting on the pros appearance. Yeah, I saw the message exchange. It’s just not acceptable. -RadiantHugs]
