  • I am assuming you are asking what happens when a man has an erection in the context of cuddling. There are several approaches. Depending on how good communications are between you and your cuddle companion, you can discuss it, ignore it, change positions or take a break from cuddling until it passes.

First time I tried a platonic with another guy, we went 2 hours plus (obviously neither of u$ is pro) and we each had this issue a couple times. Few words, we just changed positions.

  • In the immortal words of Tank Girl, "Look, it's been swell, but the swelling's gone down." Don't sweat it - erections happen.

Xactly. I read some where that most guys get 4 a day while awake, and more than you can count while you sleep. Except for those guys in the Viagra ads, they don't last all that long, and most are not tied to sexual desire.

I am asked this question often. It is completely normal and i do not make a big deal out of it. The last thing i want to do is upset our cuddle vibe and embarrass my cuddle buddy. As long as they dont act on it i just let it be and make no mention of it.

    This question always baffles me.

What happens if you get an uncomfy feeling with any other body part? You move or readjust so that it's not longer an issue.

How many more options can there be? Keep pokin? Chop it off?

Gay man here, my first attempt at platonic cuddling was with another, equally young and more physically attractive gay man. I was a little apprehensive, but also kind of open to "we'll try this," and if it goes south, it might be fun anyway. During the course of two hours, we both had erections, long term and shorter term. When it happened, we didn't even speak of it. We just shifted positions. If it was convenient for the guy with "wood" to adjust, fine, if not, we whispered a request, like, "if you move your leg towards the wall a little, I can turn." Nothing more.

I have to admit that afterwards, we went to Denny's for late night breakfast, and he suggested that maybe the next time we cuddled, we'd call it a "date cuddle," instead of a platonic one. But it was after the fact, with our clothes on and 3 miles up the road, that it was suggested. What happened next is not in the context (is that the right word?) of this site.

  • it is always useful to change positions :) to keep cuddling!
