My other cat on my sitting room chair, passed away last year 😔 this one above is a new rescue .. very sweet… 💕 besides the scratching and biting when she doesn’t get her way, ha.. 🤔 my girl 💕 she had a little cold day one when I adopted her last July, so, I brought her to AERA , the animal hospital told me it looked like FIP and she would need to stay overnight so they could do “ tests” to confirm .. and to consider euthanasia (as FIP meds had not been approved in the US at that time) they wanted another $7000 upfront of course, on top of the $5000 I already paid for initial “tests” .. I would have paid it if there was no other choice/hope, but, I told them to give me a prescription for Clavamox and Prednisone so I could care for her at my home .. I brought her home and she is healthy , doing great now😊… no FIP.. sometimes Vets are wrong .. I’ve had other cats that lived to be 20 and 22.. Only you can make the right decisions for your beloved fur baby and do what is right in your heart ❤️ and for him 😊
And for cat tax, here's their two little brothers from another mother. Jinx (larger with white chest and groin) and Jax (smaller, all black).
Jinx is going to live with a coworker for awhile so I can get my shit together, and is quickly becoming one of our work mascots. He's Duke's spirit child - dog-like, too clever for own good, and a chaos gremlin.
And Jax, the Baby™️ and my smallest boy at 14lbs. He has epilepsy, so he's staying with me through the move.
Edit: whoops, looks like I've tried to share too many photos 😅 just proof I'm definitely that crazy cat lady.
I'll make some shareable albums of my boys later.
Beautiful babies 💕
Wish you lived closer to me , I would take Jasper 💕
His name is Seymour, loves his ears rubbed and loves cherry turnovers . Spoiled rotten Not mine but a friends . I have no pets.
Just a few family buttheads we grew up with. They passed away couple years ago. Luci, Jo, Jack.
@waynewv Seymore! It's good to see him again. Thank you for sharing
@cuddlefaery I would like to adopt him ❤️ In your first post you said you’ve been trying to rehome Jasper for a while due to your financial and health issues , but, you have not been able to find someone who will adopt an elderly cat with health and behavioral issues.. Here I am
My sweet, sassy Jasper crossed the rainbow bridge today. The vet concluded he was very sick and likely already on his way out. At least this way we got to be with him, he wasn't in pain, and was no longer so stressed.
Thank you all for all your support these past few days.
Here's "baby" Jasper when I first got him - he was actually an adult around 3 we extimat, but so malnourished he ended up growing after I get him fed up. His favorite thing to do was bite my ankles every time I came into the bathroom 😂
So very sorry for your loss.
@cuddlefaery you did such a tough thing. Hugs out to you and your people who loved him. His whole life was filled with unexpected joy and love because you chose to offer it.
May your heart rest easier in the days to come.
@cuddlefaery so sorry to hear about your Jasper. May you find peace in all the memories that you share with him .
I’m babysitting (and dog sitting lol ) this weekend. Here’s my sons rescue pup Peeka😊
Sorry Jasper 🐈⬛ 😢
…
Sending you virtual hugs
My pup Cujo when he was just a baby
I’m sorry you are going through this. The loss is deeply felt but I believe they will always be with us
This is my baby waking up from a nap
I'm so sorry for your loss. big hugs 🫂
I just saw this post. I've been so busy. I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how heartbreaking 💔😢 & painful whenever our pets passed away 😭. Sending you prayers 🙏 & virtual 🤗. I find going to local pet loss support group ongoing meetings (if there's one in your area) & also calling pet loss support hotline both very helpful & very comforting.
Here's my 4 strictly indoor cats. I hope it helps bring you some comfort.
My 4 fur babies are like Velcro babies that follows me all over from 1st floor to top level 3rd floor of my house. My cuddle room on the 1st floor is off limits to my cats because some clients are allergic to cats so I always keep the door closed at all times.
I recently failed horribly at volunteering for the humane society. The cat coordinator dropped a puddle of mush in my arms and we both melted. This is my little mush, Kevin.
My 3 babies are always excited for a picture
