I’m sorry to post this here but I just had an experience that has left me feeling so defeated and disappointed in the state of humanity and I think it’ll feel good to share.
I scheduled a session with an individual last night- he asked good questions, communicated clearly, sent a photo, and texted with an appropriately enthusiastic tone. When I explained that I ask clients to cover an uber to and from the session as I do not have a car, he happily obliged. I didn’t ask for a down payment as he would be paying about $65 just to get me to his hotel.
The time for our session arrives and he sends me an uber. I’m 40 minutes into to the 45 minute drive when he texts me “How much is this again lol?”—not a text I want to receive on the way to session, but I remind him my rate. 3 minutes later I arrive at the hotel and find that I have been blocked on CC and over text. I am now an hour away from home (LA traffic) and will spend $65 just to get myself back. Additionally, I had to turn down a request from a regular this afternoon as this individual booked me for 2 hours.
The holiday season is expensive, most of my regular are out of town, and this hurts. I feel so disrespected and alone in this moment. I know there’s so much more to this community and I’ve truly had amazing cuddle experiences, but this just sucks so bad.
