Not a meme, but a very true story:
In an old neighborhood, there was a house that did a count down of the days left to Christmas on their garage. Big giant black numbers, 1-25 laid out in rows, and then as the days ticked by, they used giant red Xs to cross them out.
…except… they weren’t like cute red Xs in the shapes of bows or with little elf shoes on, these were more like slashes of dark red across each number… and there was no festive sign stating “days till Christmas!” Or anything…
So, to us, it looked more like a murder board. A countdown list, like in Kill Bill, and we assumed they were murdering their top 25 most annoying people of the year, one each day, as a big ole Christmas gift to themselves… as well as warning all of us neighbors what they were capable of 🫢
We needed some morbid humor while we were living in that house and this hit the spot every December! 😆😆😆
