I guess I've accidentally given a tip as a gift because neither of us noticed I overpaid lol. Worth it though
Yes, I have given gifts to cuddle buddies...For example @pmvines has a very extensive coffee ☕ cup collection thanks to Me! 😊🫂
Lol. It gives me joy that when he drinks hot caffeinated brown water in a cup, that he'll always think of Me and the cuddles we shared! 😆☕😃 🫂
@Katota
Aw @Katota but you ARE my hot caffeinated cup of brown water 🤗 😂
My last cuddler unintentionally left a bag of baby back ribs and brisket she'd brought from Rudy's Country Store and Bar-B-Q.
She had asked to put it in my fridge during our session, but forgot to take it with her afterwards. She called a few minutes later saying she had forgotten it, but was running late and couldn't return, and that she knew I'd love it.
Did I ever! Best unintentional gift ever.
@pmvines 😆☕😆☕😆
One of my pro cuddler friends has a sweet tooth. That said I have brought Lindt truffles or cheesecake to a few cuddles
Once I did. He had told me about some things he liked and missed from my state, so I brought him a small bag of goodies (snacks and such) that you can only get here. It was more of a friendship token.
Yep!! Those I've cuddled with know about my little gifts I give 😁🦆😉 Aside from sharing sweet cuddles, that is!
I gave live hogs as gifts. Until someone in law enforcement took offense. Now I give live performances of “La Boheme” in my untrained singing voice because no amount of vocal training can put lipstick on that pig.
Mmmmmm now I want Rudy's BBQ 😆 @TxTom
Serious question. Is this person a professional or an enthusiast?
If it's a professional, absolutely not. No gifts.
If it's an enthusiast, make them wait. If you really want to give them a gift, at least make them earn it. If you've known them for a year, it should be fine.
Giving a gift is fine. It's satisfying to give.
There's way too much analysis paralysis over what is just a simple human gesture of kindness. 🎁
@Cuddlesofcuddle When do I not want Rudy's BBQ? Never!
I had Rudy’s when I was in Texas recently, good stuff.
@Sunrise_Snuggle how does one "earn" a gift? I'm genuinely curious.
Does dinner or breakfast count? I enjoy a meal before or after a cuddle. Not required but boy does it make me feel special, ijs!😁
@MeltMyWay I was thinking the same thing. If you have to earn it then you are an employee. A gift is given without thought that you receive anything in return. And an enthusiast having to earn a gift is well…almost saying you are training them to become a pro. A genuinely weird statement to say.
I will be Santa next year and go down chimneys and leave a note “Sorry, you didn’t earn it!”
@MeltMyWay @TheFunCartel
Me thinks that is just rigidness and opinion as fact speak. I don't take that stuff seriously enough to consider ponderable
Do you trust someone upon the first meeting or do they have to earn your trust?
Well, it should be the same with giving gifts.
If giving gifts is your thing, if that makes you happy, I'm not going to say you're wrong. But don't do it right away. Get a feel for how they're going to receive your gift. Would they receive it with gratitude, indifference, or would they be offended by your gift? You can't know that upon the first time meeting someone.
I personally despise gift giving. It's last on my love languages ranking. So, for me it would take at least a year, but perhaps never.
I brought a box of imported Turkish candies to a provider after a few sessions.
@Katota and @pmvines are too cute. 🥹
I’ve been gifted flowers and plants! It makes me so happy and giddy that the sessions starts out with a very happy vibe.
I'll never understand why people say giftcards are impersonal- THEY’RE THE BEST- The gift giver VERY LITERALLY CAN NOT screw THAT up!!!
I’ve given gifts for cuddle buddies before. I’ve made holiday gift bags that had tea, crystals with a little note that shared what each crystal was intended for, and I’ve given extra time around the holidays for regulars as a token of appreciation.
I’ve been given flowers, blankets, gift cards, and once someone got me a Disney’s little mermaid backpack because it’s my favorite Disney movie along with some blue hair dye when my hair was bright blue haha. Super sweet. Definitely don’t see anything wrong with gifts, we need more kindness in the world 🥰
We talked about making something together for the first meet up. So I brought some of the key ingredients and ice cream for dessert. It was nice to get quality time in the kitchen, eat something we created together, and then get to cuddle while watching their favorite TV show.
People have bought me coffee at the Starbucks in their hotel that was so kind! One gentleman took me to a fancy restaurant where I tried wagyu for the first time that was such a cool experience for both of us. But generally aside from food tipping is the most gift I get and is always appreciated. I have given clients rocks and energy drinks and stuff.
@TxTom sounds delicious!!! 😋
'Twas.
I've brought desserts for us to share while we chat and get to know each other before the cuddling starts. We've grabbed coffee together in the hotel lobby as well.
