Barefoot at home or socks only?👣

I’m always cold so I’m ALWAYS wearing socks. I just change them before I go to bed at night! I have plantar fasciitis in both feet too so I need the compression and arch support whether I’m outdoors or inside.

  • If a male had asked this question (as several have), the responses would have gone very differently. Eyes wide open, peeps.

But to play along... Shoes off at the door. Flip-flops on hard floors in spring, summer, and fall. Slippers on hard floors in winter. Barefoot on carpet.

  • Barefoot, socks, or socks with slippers. It depends on what I am doing and the temperature.

  • I think it depends how cold I am. To be honest I'm a nudist mostly when I am home.

  • @SunsetSnuggles gone differently how, are you talking about a quinten tarantino angle?

  • I have post chemo neuropathy and so barefoot as much as possible.

  • Socks or slippers around the house. Bare foot, or a change of socks, when getting in bed.

  • Barefoot- pretty much all the time. Home, weekends, grabbing something off shelf in garage. Going out, most yardwork and even when it's 35° out then it's Crocs. I only wear socks and sneakers/slip-in Sketchers for work.

  • I usually prefer barefoot inside the house (carpet or wooden floors), but for sleeping I like to wear socks

  • Neither, I wear flip-flops.

  • Barefoot most of the time, if I get cold I have two pairs of warm slippers.

  • I'm firmly in the socks camp, and next time I buy them I'll get more thick one's, I prefer them, or is that just because it's the winter? I wouldn't mind getting a pair of slippers, but it's not a priority.

  • Socks and/or slides

  • As soon as I get home, my shoes and socks are off. I love to have my toes breathe and free plus my feet are really soft so I’m constantly rubbing my feet together.

  • Socks always, barefoot only in bed. Shoes always outside, I can't imagine stepping in mud. Barefoot at the beach though 🏖️

  • @wilderdude
People would have immediately picked up on that and not responded at face value, yes. As it was, I imagine only the targeted audience did what they were supposed to do, found what they were supposed to, and booked what they were supposed to.

  • Barefoot always. Unless I have a pair of really good grip fuzzy socks 😩😭

  • Hands down barefoot, if my feet are cold, blanket or slippers! May catch me in socks on occasion!

I'm at my most comfortable barefoot, by my home has a lot of tile floor so especially during these colder months I often wear socks just to stay warm. I tend to prefer slippers to socks but I'm in need of a new pair.

  • Socks on at home because when the floor is dirty I hate stepping on crumbs and stuff 😩

  • My feet are almost always cold, so I either have fuzzy socks or my house slippers on

  • I’m trying to become a socks person, but I’m almost always barefoot.

  • Shoes are for the outside world only; come off as soon as I walk in the door. If it's warm, barefoot (although bare feet on hard floors can lead to plantar fasciitis, apparently. Sigh.)

    Wintertime, socks or slippers.

  • Either or depending on how cold the floor is

  • This is a hot take, but sometimes socks, sometimes none. I know I know , call me controversial

  • Shoes off at the door. Socks or not. IDC. Sometimes I wear flips or slides inside.

  • I have Crocs that I wear in the house and my kids call them my “house shoes”.

  • If I just got home from work I do barefoot, But since I get cold super easily I typically wear my Socks, either regular or thigh socks
