Has anyone ever used dayuse.com? If so, is it legit? I have a day trip to Santa Barbara coming up and I have about a 8 hour layover. I found a room at a nice hotel on the beach for a very reasonable rate for 6 hours. Thoughts?
I’ve used it in a few places. Each hotel is different for it but all the ones I used for it worked nicely 👍🏻
I think it’s good if you want to have a cuddle session with a pro who can’t host and you aren’t able to invite them over where you’re staying overnight
The thing I found odd is that they didn’t ask for any credit card info.
You pay there. And you can also cancel as early as 4 hours before the check in time.

They don't ask for credit card as they allow cash payments ... It's known to be discreet
I have used it a few times in the UK. It was fine, but I felt like they were waiting outside with the hoover, ready for us to leave. Also, some of the cheaper ones don't have a toilet in the room. ( Only a shower!) 🤦
Dayuse.com itself is legit. But as with any other lodging site, you need to do your homework on the location you've selected. Some very nice looking places on the website are dumps in person.
Google maps street view helps immensely.
My clients have used dayuse.com 100 % legit As others have said you must do your homework; quality of hotels differ. Luckily for me, my clients have all used clean and very nice hotels. 🤗
I've used it numerous times and never had an issue. Yesterday I had a pro no-show, no call, and I was able to cancel with Dayuse an hour after I was supposed to check in and didnt get charged except for the initial $10 booking fee.
I've also used ResortPass.
Dayuse is excellent! 💯 % recommend and use Marriott/Hilton Hotel 🏨 brands., no issues .
I remember being told about this before but I was skeptical, but maybe I would consider it to expand my selection.
I haven't (yet) used it for cuddling, but the one time I did try to use it was kind of a fail. I took a red-eye flight to New York with my daughter and thought it would be great to get a nap in before we could check in to our actual hotel for the next few days. I booked a day use room from like 7:00AM-3:00PM. However, it was a Sunday, and the hotel had been fully booked the night before (Saturday night). When we arrived around 7:30, they said they didn't have anything available until housekeeping could turn over some rooms. We mostly hung out in the lobby and I checked back around once an hour.
Meanwhile, I walked over to the hotel we were checking into that day (about a block away) and they thought they might be able to get us in by around 11:00. When it got to around 10:30, I cancelled the day use room (no fee) and we were able to get into our actual hotel room about 45 minutes later.
That doesn't prevent me from possibly using them in the future, but I probably won't try to book Sunday morning in Manhattan again.
Well I’ll be in the room tomorrow so I’ll let you know how it all goes.

Most hotels offer rooms in the middle of the day. They don't care what you do in there as long as you are a decent guest. Business meetings, interviews of various kinds, just getting changed between events .... there are a million reasons why people need such a thing.
I've heard good things about it and have the app. I just haven't used it yet. I do have a couple cuddler friends that are only available for day time cuddles, so it'd definitely come to use
Dayuse is legit and can be a great option. Generally, you pay once you arrive because it’s a separate thing outside of traditional bookings. But keep in mind, every hotel is different. I have encountered ones that only accepted cards, only accepted cash, and others that charged a hefty deposit so I’d definitely call and do my research.

Generally I can host but for work I will use day stays for smaller meetings in a suite or rooms with a large sitting area.
I use Dayuse.com, HotelsByDay.com, AND depending on the city, I have found my best rates for downtown hotels by calling direct especially mid week. Direct calls for Weekend day use, the price is much higher. If calling directly, flex your hotel points collector level depending on your hotel brand you use too.
My clients use it and I have used it. No credit card to book and you pay when you get there so it's pretty risk free. Also easy to pick any time frame that works for both parties (morning, afternoon) vs being forced to pay for an overnight stay you might not even use 🤷♀️

@Morpheus Cash is still the safest and least expensive bet for all involved- Especially the consumer. Credit/debit cards (at least were) more for convenience but now it’s been capitalized on via interest and late/over draft fees. I’ve noticed a lot of restaurants have begun charging consumers their processing fees for electronic transactions, though I don’t know why. It’s still a tax write off in the form of a business expense (?)

Businesses gotta have a net profit first before concerns about tax writeoffs are important. Restaurants in general have an average profit margin of only around 2% to 6%, so having to pay 2-3% credit card fees on gross sales can really beat down the bottom line.
