For five years, I have been in the Cuddle Comfort community, in the cuddle world here in Denver, even longer, pre-COVID days. I have been a pro, from about the moment I joined my first cuddle puddle. I knew it would become my life's work after my first exposure therapy π My birth doula was the first person who told me I'd never been safely touched, by anyone, and that I needed to be safely touched to start trusting humans in the world again. I thought she was insane and told her just as much: "if you think I'm going to let strangers TOUCH ME, you're bat shit crazy!" Wellllll, 7 years later, we're here, I'm a pro, I have over 100 client sessions a year and hold 12+ community events (public and private) a year. Crazy as she was, she knew what she was talking about. Safe touch was the medicine I needed to start trusting the world again.
Safe touch was the medicine that saved my life, over and over and over again. Safe touch was what safensecure4u2 offered me EVERY SINGLE TIME he touched me, hugged me, held me. He rescued me when I was drowning, repeatedly. Barry, safensecure4u2, has been the safest man that has ever touched me. For years. Every time I told a story of safe touch, his name or a story about him comes up.
He has been a pro, an enthusiast, a registered nurse, a caregiver, a hospice caregiver, a cuddler extraordinaire, a lover, a giver ... FOR DECADES. And now, he needs us. He has terminal cancer and won't be with us much longer. His body is giving out. It's ready to transition to another plane. BEFORE IT DOES...
I'd LOVE to give him a teeny tiny dose of what he's given all of us for so long. I am gifting him a week-long cuddle session with a professional cuddle therapist, to give him as much touch as he wants. If you have ever been held or loved by him, now is the time to show him all the love you have felt.
If you have any extra abundance to give right now, no matter how small, I am welcoming donations to go towards airfare, lodging, food, and adventure funds, for the professional cuddle therapist and safensecure4u2 to enjoy a week together.
She's doing this entirely for free and taking the whole week off of her own work schedule to donate her time to go be with him and I couldn't be more grateful for her willingness.
Donations can be sent to @CuddleJen on Venmo and I will send them to her directly.
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for your consideration, your generosity, and your kindness, as an individual and a community, while we continuously lift each other up.
