Hello fellow cuddle connoisseurs!
I visit a cuddle group in London and its totally fantastic. As we already know most women will happily cuddle men or women whereas men will mostly only cuddle women. In our group, men do hug men but there's no lingering moments, no intimacy.
My experience is that I feel a tremendous amount of comfort, pleasure and sometimes a beautiful connection cuddling up to the women particularly when they want a "spoon cuddle", but feel nothing either way when I hug one of the guys. So I find that I can hug a guy, yet am replused by the thought of even touching his face or hands, even though I consider myself very open and liberated.
So my question is do guys want to cuddle girls because that's what they are used to (girlfrields, and mothers) or is there something more primal (even vaguely sexual) going on, and we (ie hetrosexual men) are still a little repulsed by other men?
The oxytocin released when I cuddle a woman feels almost instant and noticable. It can be very intimate in the cuddle group but still innocent. Clearly women get the oxytocin 'hit' whether they cuddle up to a man or a woman.
Maybe gay guys can tell me if they enjoy cuddling women as much as men.
Maybe people can comment whether we all (male and female) like cuddling women as it reminds us when we were kids, the comfort of a cuddle from our mother was second to none.
Thanks for your time.
Andrew
