Pride problem

So I have been going through a lot in my family. My grandpa had a surgery, another family member of mine went to jail and a younger family member went to children services so I hadn’t had time to do my virtual visit with one of the guys on here. We had an eight hour phone call and text messages and a four hour phone call and text messages but he paid the deposit and now he’s saying that he paid for my $400 tattoo which he didn’t. He sent me a total of $50 deposit and then $90 for the hour now he’s talking crap about me talking about reporting me. What do you guys think I should do?

I'm sorry to hear about all you're going through. It definitely can feel sometimes like everything bad is happening all at once.

Personally, I would return both the fee and the deposit. Sometimes timing just sucks. It's understandable that the client feels cheated and has trouble believing, what with this scenario being a common scam. But it's also perfectly legitimate for you to just not have the bandwidth right now to provide the service. If you can cut your losses and cut him loose, he'll have nothing to report and you won't have to stress over it any more.
