@johnstrouse Your profile is a bit brief, but I don't see anything wrong with it.
On this and many other platforms where men and women are trying to connect, women sometimes get overwhelmed with messages. Some of them get cold feet and delete their accounts rapidly, finding it too scary to meet someone from the internet in person. There's a lot of risk for women in this situation. I see reports every single day of horrible things happening to them, even after initially pleasant introductory conversations took place.
Therefore, some women enthusiasts will want to spend weeks and sometimes months chatting and getting to know someone before they feel they know him well enough to meet with him. It's not that they're looking for a relationship, they just want a connection.
Men, on the other hand, more frequently want to speed up the process. Many aren't interested in anything beyond their own needs. They don't want to take the time to get to know anyone. They're oblivious to the risks women are taking to participate in cuddling. I see countless reports of bad behavior in which the men are habitually asking pros for last minute and same day appointments, which gives the pro cuddler no time to screen them. Women have no way of knowing who's trustworthy, so we have to be extra cautious.
With men and women's vastly different approaches and needs, it's a wonder that as many people get together as they do.
Some people live in areas where there simply aren't many cuddlers and no cuddle meetups. No matter how nice and respectful someone is, and no matter how carefully crafted their messages are, cuddle culture just doesn't exist everywhere.
I feel for all of you that have a hard time finding cuddlers in your area.
One of the big reasons I moved from rural PA to Las Vegas is accessibility. Namely for me, it was finding a writing group to get my book out there to be published.
I know moving is not easy. And not the solution within reach of others. And virtual cuddling isn't for everyone. I have never been interested in that route myself. I want presence and physical touch.
There are options I know, but none might be adequate or doable. Sending you all love.
don't feel bad . . . that is the norm.
