The struggle of trying to come back to cuddling.

I’ve been away from cuddling for a few years now and recently decided that I wanted to start doing it again. I just moved into my own place so for the first time I can host and have been looking forward to doing so. In the last 6 weeks, I have scheduled 7 cuddle sessions with 6 different Pros and been stood up 5 times. (Not to mention the numerous reschedules that would happen before the no show). I’m eternally grateful to the 2 great human beings I was able to actually meet and spend time with. I just wanted to vent some frustration because when I first tried cuddling 4 years ago, I didn’t have any problems like this. Is it just some bad luck? a change in the culture? Am I seeing a difference because I’m looking for guest cuddlers instead of going to those who host?

I'm so sorry to hear of your bad experiences. In 2018 Backpage and Craigslist personal ads were shut down by the passage of the FOSTA-SESTA sex trafficking act. As a result, CC received an influx of unsavory people who frequented those sites, both people seeking and offering sex work and scammers.

Vetting a cuddler is a familiar practice for a lot of women and maybe is something that would benefit you. Developing skills in reading people and having a list of questions to ask is good practice.

  • Human trafficking has become more well known about in the past like, decade and I can tell you that going to someone else's house that I haven't been talking to for very long in an area that I'm not familiar with is a HUGE "red flag" for me. I once had someone offer to send me an Uber because it was too late for me to be driving. NEVER take ANYTHING you read or experience "here" personally. Seemingly good natured people online can give you a completely different vibe in person. Be safe out there!
