Contacting the site for help/questions.

Throughout my time as a pro on CC (about 4 months), I have had several questions/concerns and was unable to find the answers in the FAQs. Each time I have messaged CC through "Contact Us" at the bottom of the home page. I have never seen a response from anyone at CC to any of my messages (I have reached out about 3 or 4 times). Are responses sent through email? In my messages on the site? From my end, it appears that I have not received a response to any of my messages to CC. I can't imagine that is the case.

Am I doing it wrong? Long story short...How do I effectively contact mods, or whoever I need to contact at CC with questions or concerns? I am blond but it's still hard for me to believe that I can't figure this simple task out 🤔

Thanks all!

  • I thought there was a list of Mods with links to directly message them but now I don’t see it. Here’s a few names, I think if you click on the links below you will be able to message them from their profile page. If I’m wrong, hopefully someone will clarify.
Also keep in mind that the Mods here are volunteers and get swamped with messages and reports so could take a little time.
Also you can post questions on the Pros Only forum.

I've never messaged the site through that method, but I believe it would result in a PM on the site, along with a notification by e-mail. You can certainly contact a mod directly, since you haven't seen a response.

Here is the current list. Sid has stepped down as a mod at this time.

  • Or you could post your concerns here in the forums and discover that members will make you question your very existence which is concerning. This will in turn make your original concern seem paltry in comparison.

But you will feel different as a result. Go for it!

  • Thank you so much for taking the time to respond @Carrie_Anne @SunsetSnuggles and @TheFunCartel ! You guys are great. Very helpful 😄

  • @CuddleKitten79
I know you were just trying to make a joke about being blonde, but don't put yourself down. I see a kind and caring cuddler who happens to be blonde.

  • @CuddlyKitten79
Haha I missed the blonde part when I first read your question and until @JohnnyVV made reference. This site has a learning curve for figuring out where everything is, but many people are happy to help and @CuddleDuncan and other admins have provided so much helpful information,
best of luck as a Cuddler!

  • So, I messaged two mods from the list directly two days ago and neither one has answered me yet. I am starting to think I smell or something..haha

  • They will get to you :) in the meantime I'm free if you ever need to reach out

  • There is no help here via the contact us or anything; you sign up and then you are on your own and relying on other pro cuddlers for help! bottom line.

The contact us form will send a message directly to the admins of the site. Moderators never see those messages.

  • @KiyomiComfort - that's unfortunate you feel that way. What IS true is that there's no hand- holding, not for Pros nor enthusiasts.

Signing up to be a Pro presupposes that you've done you're homework, that you know how to and follow best vetting practices, and that you follow the forum and site rules. Of course you should reach out to other pro cuddlers for help, advice, support. Don't forget that this site began for enthusiasts, as a nexus for like-minded and interested folks to connect and cuddle.

From a mod and former mod perspective, literacy and reading are good things, and new folks on here don't have or practice either - they want the world handed to them on a silver platter. But mileage will vary.

There is a difference between the site owner @mark And the admin @gary and the Volunteer Mod team.

Tons and tons and tons of info here in the forums. I think I took a whole year to read through everything before I felt like I saw a lot of the patterns and understood everything a little bit.

There’s a lot more to it and unfortunately there are not a lot of quick ways to the big answers.

Welcome to the site and as always… May the Cuddle Gods be EVER in your favor!!

  • @Sideon Are you referring to me?

  • edited April 24

I was not referring to you, @CuddlyKitten79 .

Hope you’re doing all right @Velvet_Heart

  • But you burned your bridges with other mods who have long memories.

  • @Sideon What do you mean?

    @Velvet_Heart

We emailed you advice on 22 Jan, 16 Feb and 6 April. Please check your Spam folder if you didn't receive those emails.

I do see there were a couple times we chose not to reply. We do have to prioritise sometimes. As mentioned further up, the forum is a great place for advice and I also recommend looking at our Help Center.

@Velvet_Heart the mods on the site are usually really helpful

Thanks but edited your post. It's very unkind to name a specific mod to contrast your point. Particularly as the person you named is one of our most active. Remember, they do this voluntarily. [/Mark]
