Addictive Roguelikes

Video games: I am trying to play the big sweeping epics like i used to but find that I don't have much time for the learning curve with work and life balance.

So lately I've been hooked on the roguelike games where you jump in and play a quick game. Easy to learn.

Right now its Slay the Spire 2 and Hades.

Anybody got super addictive roguelikes to play?

  • I had a really good time with Roguebook. Ita deeply discounted on Steam at the moment if it looks like it'd be your thing

  • I love slay the spire. Didn’t click with Hades. Need to shout out Balatro (poker), Faster than Light (spaceship management), and plate up (party game restaurant sim). Also love XCOM on Ironman mode.

Hmm I was loving Blue Prince, if that qualifies. Also CloverPit was fun. Also Mewgenics was recently recommended to me which looks hilarious, though I only just started that one. One of the first I got into, Rogue Legacy, was also really fun. Though wow that one is 13 years old. Time flies.

My favorite is Dead Cells, I played on the PC years ago, but I heard its ported to a bunch of other systems now, even android phones
it was a 10/10 back when I played, now its only getting better with age more content, more polish, highly recommending it
