@cuddlefaery Interesting documentary, thank you for sharing! You know I was horrified watching them drill. Felt like they were tainting an entire ecosystem. I did however wish they had gone further in explaining the bacteria they found. I assume that since they aren’t exposed to sunlight, they use chemosynthesis to survive. If they’re found alone, are they helping clean out glacier toxins? I also wonder if the bacteria in the glaciers share the same ancestors as the ones from the brine pools. I got so irritated knowing that they used kerosene and Freon-based drilling fluids to drill in their first attempt, that I don't want to deep dive into it at this moment. 😤

You don't have to eat dessert after dinner. Eat dessert first and the sweetness will make the savouryness of the main meal taste better. Literally no one will stop you, even at a restaurant. They'll just give you the cheesecake and what you do with it is your own purrsonal business
