What is the difference between a cuddler and a professional cuddler?
Anyone who cuddles is a cuddler. A professional cuddler is someone offers cuddling as a service for a fee through this site, as opposed to an “enthusiast” who is hoping to find a match and connect with another cuddler for free. Professional cuddlers have more rules regulating their site usage and behavior, which protects both their cuddler clients and the site’s reputation. Connecting with a professional cuddler may be a much simpler way for some to find a cuddler to match with.
Professionals listed on this site all go through an approval process by the moderators. A more robust profile is required for pros, including photos and an active credit card. I can’t recall if ID is required, or not, though. @CuddleDuncan (or anyone else) - what is required for pro profiles above requirements for enthusiasts?
Professional cuddlers are actually approved by the site owners: Mods are not involved. Most applications are rejected.
The key requirements are an active credit card, and a clear face profile photo. Formal ID beyond that is not normally required although the site reserves the right to ask for it. Enforcement of site rules tends to be more strict for professional accounts.
Sometimes we talk about there being three categories of member: enthusiast, professional and client. You can be in more than one category, for example I am an enthusiast and a client. The site was created for enthusiasts, and although professional cuddling has come to overshadow enthusiast cuddling somewhat, the enthusiast ethos is still the site's foundation.
