How do you verify users?

I'd rather not pay a ton for a virtual session first where I don't get to cuddle. Especially if I end up scammed out of a real session. I'm hoping their is another acceptable way for pros to feel safe visiting new users.

Is there another way users can verify their identity? Florida, for example, allows people to send criminal background checks: https://cchinet.fdle.state.fl.us/search/app/default?19

Digital ID verification is mainly targeted for corporations. It's very disappointing this site doesn't use such a system.

6. You are only permitted to exchange contact information (e.g. phone and email) after confirming a session using the booking panel.

That seems so archaic not allowing Pros to actually check if someone is safe when booking. Even if someone is nice virtually or at a movie, that doesn't mean they're actually not a violent felon or have a history of domestic abuse. WTF?!

7. All contact with the Cuddler, including scheduling, should remain on our website unless absolutely necessary.

Then what's the point of getting a phone number and email?

Safety

Cuddle Comfort makes no claim that using our website to organize cuddle sessions is safe. Before any session begins, the Client should always exercise due diligence independent of our website to satisfy their own peace of mind in regards to safety.

I guess the client can share the background check and ID before the session begins on-site? I'd much rather that then pay for a public session first. This website really needs to re-think how they do things.

@plandreamer Many of your questions as a newer user may be answered in the FAQ

Because the financial resources that keep the site operating come from the percentage of professional cuddler fees (rather than client subscriptions, ad placement, etc.), many of the processes used have to encourage bookings to happen on the site, etc. The site also couldn't take on safety screening operations without incurring both direct costs and liability.

So whatever screenings are being done are the responsibility of the participants. Which means that pros will use whatever methods they feel give them good-enough security balanced with the amount of business that they're looking for, and clients will select pros based in part on whether they're comfortable doing things like sharing a photo ID, paying for a virtual/public meet, etc.

Exchanging other means of communicating once the booking is made allows for things like better coordination of timing on the day of a meeting.

Either party can cancel a booking. Repetitive cancellations can be a flag for trying to evade the fee on the part of the pro, or other motivations by the client.
