I have a planned cuddle next month. The pro cuddler says I have to pay for their Uber which doesn’t make sense if it’s a public cuddle. I’ve done public cuddles and didn’t have to pay for their Uber, for they have a car.The pro says on their profile they have a car as well, so doesn’t make sense to me. Is this normal? Want to make sure

Pros can set their own rates, and that includes whether they add travel fees or not. Some pros legitimately ask for rideshare fees to be covered in advance to avoid last minute cancellations and/or for longer travel times with higher costs. However, it can also definitely be a scam used by fake accounts and/or unethical pros.

Only you can decide if you're comfortable paying travel fees for your cuddler, and how much you are willing to pay, and by what method. Trust your gut if it seems off and cancel or ask more questions before going forward.

There have been many discussions about travel fees in the forums - it may be worth taking a look through to see both perspectives.

Thank you I appreciate your input. I understand pros can charge whatever rate they want. I just was a bit confused since I never paid for travel fees unless I was hosting. This is for a public meeting so I was take back
, but I did see it was to cover the booking slot. In their profile they have reviews which what I look for with a pro cuddler. I will see if they get more reviews. Thank you

Though I don't really like the terms, most cuddle sessions can be described as "incall" or "outcall". "Incall" means that the client visits the pro cuddler; while "outcall" means the cuddler visits the client. The implication here is that the cuddler is in possession of one of two things; a place to host, or a vehicle to get to the client's location. When the cuddler is not in possession of either of these items, problems arise. In fact, I consider that a red flag.
