Relaxation is who you are. Tension is who you want to be.

Some forms of hunger don't live in the stomach.

A hand on your shoulder after a difficult day.

A long hug from someone who heard your story.

A friend sitting close enough that silence feels comfortable.

Human beings learn safety through connection. Long before we understand complex ideas, we understand warmth, presence, and care.

Researchers have linked safe, consensual touch to lower stress levels, reduced blood pressure, improved mood, and a greater sense of belonging. Yet many adults move through entire weeks without experiencing meaningful physical connection.

The result isn't always obvious. Sometimes it appears as tension that never quite leaves the body. A restless mind. A lingering sense of isolation despite being surrounded by people.

Touch has a way of communicating what words often struggle to express: reassurance, compas
sion, acceptance, and comfort.

In meditation practice I learned "Relaxation is who you are (calm/peace),Tension is what you want to be (Frustration/search/unease).

Perhaps "Vitamin T" is the bridge that takes us from one place of search and unease to another of acceptance and peace.

Have you rested, felt safe and at peace today?

Give yourself love and peace or seek us cuddlers, so we can give you some!
