Send a pin to your friend when you arrive so they know where you are and you feel safe. Call them when you get here. Keep your phone within reach. Heck I'll even say "hi" to them. But no pictures or posting on social media about me or our location. Light conversation is fine, but you don't have to entertain me. I'm AuADHD so I'm a little awkward but I'm kind and polite.

I'm staying in a friend's vacant rental. There is nothing to steal and I'm not worth robbing. I'm unemployed, separated, and broke. Happy to compensate you for your time and attention. I do have a small dog. He is hypoallergenic and super friendly. He'll be a nut case and very excited to meet you for the first 3 mins you're here and then he'll calm down.
