"Public" suggestions.

Preface:
I've had one cuddle here so far (as a guest), it was great. I would love to host but unfortunately my house has many other guys living in it and it's not the tidiest. Consequently, I'm looking for cuddlers who are open to hosting or public.

And that got me thinking… I've never seen anyone cuddling in public, have I? If I had to guess, I'd venture maybe the beach or something. But I really dislike sand — it's rough, coarse, and irritating… and it gets everywhere. Not a cuddle-friendly element. So… where else? Maybe at a public park, on a blanket? That's the only other thing I can think of.

Question:
For those of you who have done a public cuddle before, what sorts of locations did you choose?

    I did a couple public sessions at a cute coffee shop. They had a really nice comfy couch and we sat together with his arm around me, talked, and sipped our drinks

    Movie theater with lounge chairs. Sometimes the arm in the middle folds up.

    If you dislike sand, may I suggest the nice warm planet of Mustafar? =) ;)

    But in all seriousness I've cuddled in a movie theater, in a park using a towel or blanket on some grass, and that's about it for public cuddles I believe. However these were with enthusiasts as I'd prefer somewhere private if I'm paying for a session.

    There is a diner just around the corner from my house. They have the high-back booths. We sat in one in a back corner, got some coffee and just squished in tight and talked the whole time. It was actually really cool. We ended up splitting a piece of pie. I will totally take another cuddle there.

    M Bird is a great intimate rooftop spot in Tampa for a nice session. Harbor Island has some spots on the water with cozy outdoor seating too, even activities if you’d like.

    I’ve done both and they were great experiences.
    You can even try the desert room to have your own space and just let the server know you’ll if needed. 🤷🏽‍♀️ you’ll need a reservation for that one of course.

    The great thing about Tampa is there are many places you can choose from and make private.

    There is a cat cafe' they have nearby I take my daughter to sometimes and was contemplating how cuddling there would be. You have to pay and book 50 min sessions though, so that would be a factor.
    Also wondered about cuddling at an amusement park/water park because I'm going to be at one here that is closing down after this season as often as possible.
    Also would include ticket or pass buying though.

    My two session would be at a local public park where their is benches where you can sit together and put your arm around each other to sit close and cuddle or at a cozy little coffee shop with booth seating with the same concept of sitting close together with your arm around each other to cuddle. A lot of people I heard for public sessions do platonic activities like just go for a walk together or go grab a coffee or a bite to eat and it is more of a social interaction like you would do for a virtual session rather than actually cuddling like you would traditionally laying down

    @BrokenWillow I used to live in Tampa near Hyde Park Village. Never heard of M Bird (I moved out in 2020 and I had been back recently and saw a lot changed in South Tampa) but I used to enjoy the rooftop at Bulla, The Epicurian, and remember Armature Works has a rooftop.

    I’ve only been to Berns once and thought it was an amazing experience. Sat in the room within the dessert room with the pianist and thought it was funny how he played it’s a small world.

    My pick there would definitely be Hyde Park Village, although it’s a shame Wine Exchange is gone but still a great area to walk around. It’s kind of similar to downtown Stamford, CT where I did do my one and only public session so far.

    Anyways to answer the OP, I’ve been thinking of doing a Disney day like at EPCOT or Disney Springs and maybe even Magic Kingdom since it stays open the latest.

    Oh this is my favorite as I absolutely LOVE to plan public cuddles though these tend to be specially booked.

    1. The picnic
      I hand quilted the perfect picnic blanket just for this. I bring a picnic basket with sparkling water, juice, or wine. It comes prepared with glasses, plates, and utensils. I also bring fresh fruit salad, cheese, nuts, and dried fruits (typically with produce and goods bought from the farmers market that week). Typically we meet at a park or lake and I set us up in the most scenic and secluded spot. I also provide a beach tent for my guest who are a little more sensitive to the sun.

    2. The movie theater
      I book us seats that recline together and provide a blanket big enough to cover us both. Usually seats are in the very back as to have a little more privacy.

    3. The drive-in
      I purchased a blow up mattress specifically for my
      8 seater. I put all of the seats down, bring pillows and blankets, and provide my guests with their favorite movie snacks and drinks. Then I park us backwards so we can watch the movie from the comfort of my trunk.
      I also bring chairs so if we want to sit outside of the car we can do that also.

    These are all low cost suggestions that you DO NOT have to purchase things specifically for. The only reason I go out of my way to make a session as cozy as I do is because I’m a PRO and prefer for each of my guests to know I not only paid attention to the little things but that each session is just as special to me as it is to them.

    I’ve done one movie theater cuddle (some theaters have love seats). I’ve also had a couple of great cuddles on a blanket on a riverbank in a state park.

    Dobbins lookout in south phoenix is in a state park and has nice spots to hike or just take in the views. I’ve done a couple public cuddles there. Chatting, cuddling, and watching the sunset turn to city lights is good.

    Plus the folks that tend to enjoy that spot are generally quiet and respectful, into nature.

    Papago park is another good choice.

    Have also done movie theaters and local coffee shops.

    @disneysamurai See, you know then! Tampa has great spots.. M Bird is located at Armature Works. The view is great. Not sure how long they have been there. I’ve only been in Florida just over a year.

    Disney spots would be fun but I would imagine super crowded it if that’s the vibe for the session then that would be great 🙌🏽
