Dear Cuddle family,
My family has been directly affected by the devastating earthquake in Venezuela. Like thousands of other families, they are facing uncertainty, fear, and the loss of basic necessities.
Venezuela was already experiencing a humanitarian crisis before the earthquake. The country simply is not prepared for an emergency of this magnitude. Many hospitals and communities have shortages of even the most basic supplies. There is an urgent need for almost everything.
If you can donate any of the following new or gently used items in good condition, it would mean the world:
- First aid kits
- Bandages, gauze, medical tape, and wound dressings
- Rubbing alcohol
- Antiseptics and disinfectants
- Disposable gloves and face masks
- Over-the-counter pain relievers and fever reducers
- Thermometers
- Toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant)
- Feminine hygiene products
- Diapers (baby and adult)
- Baby wipes
- Baby formula
- Bottled water or water purification tablets
- Canned food
- Rice, beans, pasta, oats, and other non-perishable foods
- Blankets and sleeping bags
- Pillows and towels
- Flashlights and batteries
- Portable phone chargers (power banks)
- New or gently used clothing for babies, children, and adults
- Shoes in good condition
- Children's books, toys, stuffed animals, and school supplies
There are also thousands of children who have lost parents or caregivers and now need food, clothing, hygiene items, and comfort as they begin to rebuild their lives.
If you have anything in good condition that you no longer need, please consider donating it. Every item can make a difference, and every hug can help bring hope to someone who has lost everything.
Thank you for opening your heart to the people of Venezuela. 🇻🇪❤️
