Pros, do you treat clients in suits better than the ones in hoodies

I always turn up in business attire to my sessions, and feel that pros tend to give more attention due to my attire. So pros, does the attire really impress you in any manner?

  • Cuddling in business attire sounds uncomfortable. And if the pros you're meeting with are genuinely treating you differently based off of the clothing you're describing....you're picking the wrong pros.

  • No. Coming in a suit would make me think you came straight from work to see me instead of taking a shower first, and that would give me the ick.

  • @BellaAine lol, that's the first time I'm hearing this? Suits usually impress people in my experience.

  • Anybody can go to the store and buy a suit . It's not that impressive .

  • Suits usually impress people in my experience.

Really? Maybe in a business office or corporate environment. But in everyday life participating in hobbies or getting personal care services? I'd think it'd read more pretentious and/or clueless than impressive. As @pmvines said, anyone can buy a suit and wear it - attitude and behavior matters more, especially for cuddling.

  • @Rndm Why are you trying to impress cuddlers with what you wear? What’s the end game? It doesn’t cover up body odor if you don’t bathe. And it doesn’t make you a better person if you don’t respect boundaries.

Finally, I deal with successful business owners all across the country who own firms and you know how many wear suits? Zero. Talent is more important than the packaging.

  • Does one cuddle in a Brioni, or will a third tier Ralph Lauren work?

  • I've never heard of this regarding cuddling😂
Comfy soft clothes make sense. End of story.

  • Oh and suits aren't impressive. No.

  • Now, showing up in an Eeyore onesie...that'd be a different story

  • This is an interesting perspective, If I have met up with cuddlers in a suit, I would firstly think 'wrong time, wrong place, as this is not a date!
Secondly, I would then politely say, " I"ll just give you some time to have a shower and change into something comfy for the session" 😉

  • I bet some women are thinking when you show up in a suit that the 1950s called and wants its stick you inserted in your exit back.

  • @cuddlefaery An eeyore onesie would win it for me!!

I agree. If you show up in a suit that means you came from work. You need to bathe. Suits are uncomfortable. I don’t know why one would wear them if they didn’t have to. Should the cuddle show up in formal business attire as well?

@TxTom asking the questions we all didn’t know we needed to know 😁

  • Are you one of the Reservoir Dogs OP?

  • @mauvefox I imagine it can be very comfortable for some - a shield, a fascade, a support. Almost like a corset can be - restrictive, but also supportive.

    .

  • @cuddlefaery it’s battle gear then. And I get that. I fully gear up in certain scenarios. The right attire make up and uncomfortable shoes.

But heading into a cuddle with battle gear on? That’s a no for me.

So I'm guessing my cuddle outfit is a NO?

  • I don't care either way what people wear, I treat all clients with the same respect. All of my clients are unique and interesting individuals, and I value all of their different viewpoints and life experiences.

I also don't care if clients shower or come from work or whatever else. I'm not judging them on clothes, body odor, or anything other than bad behavior towards me. Nobody needs to feel self conscious with me. I have a whole kit in my cuddle room with wipes, disposable washcloths, deodorant, floss, facial spray, lotion, hand towels for sweat, toothbrushes, etc. I'm also going to add some gym shorts in various sizes for people coming from work. So if something is an issue during a session, we can just fix it and move on. 💕

I’ve had clients show up w/ like a motorcycle jacket & helmet. Of course that will make for conversation. But I’m not treating anyone differently because of how they’re dressed, etc.

Can’t emphasize enough to just be your authentic self. we’re just humans here to cuddle. Nothing more 😭🩷

  • I appreciate hearing from others that the clothes don’t matter. For me, it’s more about looking presentable and not like a slob. I feel better arriving in nice clothes (not business style, but snappy casual) as a sign that I do take care of myself in some regard. Then I’ll change into cuddling clothes. Without any scientific or polling data to prove it, I do still think first impressions are better when I look decent.

I’d also feel weird strolling around someone’s neighborhood/apartment in pajamas shorts. But that’s a me issue.

I can't see any possible way a suit would impress a cuddling pro.

I can however see how it would make them slightly uncomfortable or concerned.

A suit either means the person is coming from work other event, which means he hasn't showered in awhile
Or it means he is TRYING to be impressive, which raises the question of 'why,' what does he think this is? BTW it is NOT a date.

I think showing up in clean presentable clothes is more important than showing up in formal clothes. I feel that OP is using the word "hoodie" with negative connotations, but showing up in a clean hoodie is probably better than showing up in a suit.

  • Showing up to cuddle in a suit sounds crazy. I wouldn't even show up to a first date in a suit.

Wow. These questions/discussions are getting quite silly...🤯

What do you prefer during a cuddle? Ice water or no ice? Lemon or no lemon?

Please then elaborate on the philosophical reasons why while overanalyzing...

  • Just came here to say that cuddling on this platform has connected me with some of the most unique and amazing people I would probably have otherwise never connected with. Suites, uniforms, perceptions and projections aside, I can attest that appearances are often not accurate indicators of respect of boundaries, cuddle chemistry, conversation or connection.

If you are more interested in cuddling with a certain type of person or one who presents as leading a particular lifestyle, that's ok if it works for you, there truly are no wrong answers here ... but I would also strongly encourage you to keep and open mind and invite the possibilities that follow recognizing that we are all intrinsically worthy.

  • @OokerSnapper 🤣🤣
    Sir Percival, is that you?

  • a cuddle session in my opinion should be treated like a professional get together.not a date or job interview but somewhere in between. You need to wash or shower thoroughly -brush that hair, clean that facial hair, brush your teeth, bring extra mouth wash if needed. Remember the good things your momma taught you. Be kind and respectful. dress modestly. You and the cudlee also need to choose wisely. are you able to communicate effectively?? Discuss what you want out of the session before you meet-if possible.
Sorry extra sugar in my coffee today so I woke up in a mood.
    thank you.

  • It wouldn’t matter to me as long as they’re comfortable and do not give off a foul or unpleasant smell.

  • The best way to impress your cuddler is to shower and brush your teeth right before your session, don’t cause any problems and behave yourself. Trying to impress someone by wearing a suit will just make you seem awkward. Dress in casual clothing appropriate for cuddling.
And there are many threads about how to impress your cuddler, no need to start a new one.
